This is a lovely, quiet hotel conveniently located in the centre of Lyon. Ideal for visiting the city and close to many excellent restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Spent 5 nights. The hotel rooms are very basic. However, our room was spacious for European standards and clean. The hotel was quiet. Lots of eating options in the area. Easily walkable to Old Lyon. Breakfast buffett was typical and just fine for my husband and I. They saved the day one morning with carry out coffee as we had an early train to catch. Hotel staff was friendly and helped schedule taxis and provided good advice on how long to give ourselves to catch trains and getting to the airport.

The front desk staff were very welcoming. The rooms were good size, modern and the AC worked well on days that approached 100F. The location can't be beat, on a quiet street, and within walking distance of old town and many restaurants.

The receptionist thought we stole the canteen water bottle that they let us borrow during our stay. We returned it to another receptionist and told her that but she continued to ask and question us as we brought a very similar water bottle from back home and she thought it was the hotels. It was not - it’s ours and we didn’t appreciate this. Terrible.

Greeted warmly, room was excellent and AC worked well. Petit dejeuner was an excellent continental spread as advertised. Well positioned on the Presqu'ile and one block and one bridge from Lyon Vieux.

We thought the hotel was wonderful. Spent a week there. Staff was very helpful and condition of the room was very clean. If we ever go back to Lyon, utilize the hotel again.

Right across from Theatre, in the midst of high end ahopping and easy access to everything. Parking across the atreet underground is safe and reasonable. Staff very helpful in restaurant area suggestions. Typical Parisian style room with smaller space but the location is ideal.

Staffs of front desk were polite and very helpful. The room was not large but very clean and quiet. The queen size bed was comfortable. The Hôtel location was in the walking distance to the river, old town, and many restaurants. The only suggestion we have for improvement is to add a curtain to the shower tub.

Beautiful little hotel tucked in the peninsula region of Lyon. Super close to bridge to Old Town Lyon, a walkable trip in 10 minutes. Just blocks from all the high end and local shops, as well as Michelin star restaurants. Building has an elevator so no hauling suitcases upstairs. Friendly and helpful desk staff. Would stay here again!

This is a very well-located, clean and high value hotel in a great part of the city. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back next time I’m in Lyon!

The property is quite convenient if you like walking either to the Old Lyon or to the area around Bellecour, or along the Saone.
The staff is quite pleasant and ready to help.
The buffet would benefit from having some eggs other than boiled with some vegetables.

Great hotel. I don't think I've been in a better one in France. Beautifully decorated, immaculate, centrally located for easy walk within the peninsula, along the Saône River (Sunday St. Antoine Market just feet away), and the Old Lyon. The room was huge by French standards, with a walk-in area with a refrigerator and electric teapot. The beds were very comfortable with wonderful seemingly new white quilts. The bathroom had quality fixtures and a wall-to-wall shower. I hope to return to the Hotel des Artistes and will recommend it in the highest terms to everyone.

The hotel is located right between old and new Lyon and is a perfect access point for all of the landmarks.

This boutique hotel is a small gem. Great self-serve breakfast buffet, with an impeccable service. All the employees we interacted with were courteous and extremely helpful.

The property is solid, clean, well run with a very good breakfast serving products from local merchants (jams, bakery items, charcuterie, fromage, etc.) The breakfast room staff is stellar, fast and efficient. The front desk staff is both friendly and efficient. There is always someone on the desk and you are buzzed into the front entry. There is a lift!
The rooms vary in size but ours was fairly spacious for 2 people. There was a separate W.C.and a double sink in the bathroom (lovely!) It had both good air conditioning and double paned windows. This kept the room quiet and insulated from both the warm weather and any noise from the Place Celestin right across the street.
We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Lyon!

This property was very close to vieux Lyon. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area. The room was comfortable and the hotel staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Location was perfect, close to great restaurants & bars and an easy walk to anything you’d want to do in Lyon. Staff were very friendly and were patient with my mediocre French. I skipped breakfast b/c it’s more fun to explore, but most people seemed to be eating there & enjoying it.

Ideal for a one-night stopover in Bologna. Very close to the river and Vieux Lyon. Clean and comfortable. Although not large, our room had everything we needed. We could also walk to the bus station in Perasse in 25 minutes.
