Room was not very clean and had a bad order. The accessible room was awkward getting a wheelchair in the room and in and out the bathroom with the way the door to the bathroom opened. The elevator was out and I was told I would have to walk up the stairs to the 3 rd floor or wait until they could get a repair person to fix it at 9:30 at night. I had to wait in the lobby for 45 minutes since I walk up 3 flights of stairs with bad knees.

Overall the stay was good. The room I was given on the third floor had a very strong musty odor that was overpowering
Dustin at the front desk was very understanding and gave me another room
But when I did go into that bathroom I noticed both hanging towels had stains on them
The second room I got was much better and cleaner with only a slight smell
The hotel definitely needs a makeover
The breakfast was delicious and the hotel is in a great location close to local attractions and the staff is great

Probably the nicest hotel in New Iberia (I've stayed in 3 in the last month) Friendly Staff, pretty good free breakfast, and feeling safe is a plus. I travel with my daughter for festival events and this hotel is the only one I feel safe at night. Most have lots of construction workers practically living in them and they tend to hang out in parking lot and hallways at night. I have not seen this at the Holiday Inn Express-New Iberia.

I was originally put into a room that smelled very musty and even had a wet humid feeling to it. The staff kindly moved my room and this room was clean without a smell. Super comfortable bed!

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The staff is exceptional, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond. The rooms were very clean and the swimming pool was so nice. Breakfast was worth getting up!

The same stay was ok. We were just there for the weekend and it was mostly fine. The one thing that disgusted me was that all the towels were dingy and looked dirty. We we got to the room the towels were hanging in the bathroom were dingy and had hair on them. We got extra towels and they were dingy too, so when they got wet they looked as if they had never been cleaned. I talked to the lady that cleans the room and she said they know that the towels are dingy, but they don’t wash the towels they have a company that does. My answer to the that is fire the company and find a different one. It was not to the standard of the IHG hotels I’ve previously stayed at.

I was visiting my family in New Iberia and stayed at the Holiday Express. The hotel was very clean, the free breakfast was delicious, and the personnel were so friendly and helpful. This is the only hotel i stay at when traveling.

The staff at this property was extremely nice. Especially Patsy. Unfortunately this hotel smells like smoke as soon as you get on the elevator. The room was spacious but this hotel definitely needs some updating. It is one of the nicer hotels within this area though. They did offer dove products In the restroom. Unfortunately we did have some insects on our bed. But the staff was very accommodating and administered a refund. The manager didn’t want to do a refund until I mentioned I took pictures of the incident.

The room was clean and spacious. Since we were traveling with small children we were assigned the room immediately off the elevator. The shower was superb and the beds were extremely comfortable. We love staying at the Holiday Inn Express whenever we are in town. We also enjoyed the breakfast.
