Our stay was lovely. Will definitely be back!

The hotel was very basic. Small room size, no Aircon. It’s not value for money at these prices. The staff except for a few seemed like interns who were doing this for first time Breakfast was basic and they wind down by 930 which is very odd in a small town like this - the staff was not pleased to wait even 5 minutes on breakfast despite the request Lots of dogs and one guest took food from the breakfast in the hotel plates to feed his dog no one from the hotel noticed and only took action after we pointed it out

A very short stop on our journey down the country. We had everything we needed and the staff were very accommodating. The room was very warm but that was mentioned on arrival and additional fans were offered. The shower was amazing. Although small we didn’t need anything else

Good location and friendly staff. We visited when it was hot and the aircon doesn't work in any of the rooms. Apparently it is due to be replaced later in the year and in the meantime can only be used as a fan. The owners of this hotel need to maintain it properly and not put their staff in the awkward position of dealing with hot guests!

The smell was awful. Eventually at midnight after repeated attempts we were moved to another room but it was hardly a massive effort to accommodate us in a timely fashion. We asked for the manager to contact us to discuss our disappointment but he/ she didn’t make the effort.

Having had a really poor experience of a Holiday Inn in the past, I was anxious about staying here. I have to say that I had a fantastic stay! Firstly, I would like to commend Callum for all his support from helping me book taxi's, offering me a late check out, to giving me water, lemon and ice when I was so poorly. I would also like to say thank you to Reception for holding on to my card and the kitchen staff for preparing vegan sausages when breakfast was almost over. I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn based on the lovely staff who work there, who do everything they can to ensure you have the best stay. There are a few things that the Hotel itself needs to work on, including adding a chain to the door, changing the carpets and changing the doors so they close quietly as they woke me everytime someone entered or left their room. This is something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper. Other than that, I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again, if I was in Cheltenham.

Situated a short walk from the coach station and the high street. Close to the shops with plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. The breakfast was very good, I did not eat evening meals as I was attending a family party.

A short one night stay as we attended an event locally. Staff friendly, room was perfect for our stay. Great night sleep, bed is very comfortable. Lovely shower and used the complimentary body wash. Breakfast was great, something for everyone. And loved the option of being able to take away a coffee as we’re in a bit of a rush.

Staff are great and very helpful. Room had an inexplicable foul stench that was hard to suppress even with copious amounts of air freshener.

We were close to where we wanted to be. Staff was friendly and building was clean.

Great selection of breakfast and friendly staff. Only issue was that my rooms air conditioning blown warm air out when set to cold and the paint on the walls needs addressing as it is all chipped. Staff did provide a fan, as the room was 25 degrees at one point.

Everything was nice, no complaints.

Well located hotel within walking distance of town centre. Accommodation fine and breakfast included which was welcome. Would use again . Only gripe is the car parking. Hotel details need to be transparent that car parking is available but in NCP next door and at additional charge. Please be clear on this point.

Great property clean location, however the bed headboard kept making noise most of the night .. very strange I couldn’t sleep!

We had a lovely stay, the staff were friendly, it was clean, great location, great breakfast just a shame that the only time families can access the pool is in the afternoon and there is no morning sessions!

I didn't realise the pool wasn't accessible at all times so unfortunately we weren't able to access this facility

Only complaint is the parking issue.

Enjoyed hotel was central & clean. Unfortunately the heat within the hotel bedroom and everywhere inside was stiffling & on times unbearable. As there was 3 adults in the room the pull out bed was quite uncomfortable too.

We stayed for one night, the hotel is in a perfect location, near plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and bars. We used the swimming pool twice, which the kids loved. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice and well stocked. We had a drink and played pool in the bar area which was a lovely way to end the night. The only down side was the sofa bed was really uncomfortable, so I didn’t sleep well. It definitely needed a new mattress.

Apart from the uncomfortable bed all good.

Unfortunately there were problems with the heating in my room which was very cold . Staff were very helpful and I was able to move rooms .

The hotel is an excellent position but our room had no working air conditioning with the only way to control ventilation and temperature the window. It was also very noisy both inside and out. We therefore wouldn't stay again.
