The room was ver clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for what we were doing on this trip.

The room was attractive. The bed was comfortable, good pillows, the shower had fantastic pressure! The man that checked us in, I'm assuming was the owner, had no social skills, no warmth.

Had a great stay, the rooms and staff were excellent! Next time we travel to Winter Park we'll definitely stay here!

This is a great place to stay. The staff is great. Hot tub stays open till midnight. There’s restaurants within walking distance and there’s a park for the kids right by it.

Everything that others said was so true. Updated like new inside and outside. Excellent friendly staff. Definitely would return. Price was reasonable.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Valley Hi Motel. Our room was extremely spacious and in very good condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Nice hotel, fair price for the area. It is an old building and they are renovating the outside. The inside of the hotel is very clean and the rooms are very large with comfortable beds. The owner of the property was very nice and welcoming.

From the time we arrived till we left it was great! The staff was very friendly and courteous! The entire inside was clean and had been updated. The breakfast was more than adequate. Our room was more than spacious for me and my son. It was quiet and we felt very safe. I’ve stayed in many different places in Winter Park, (3 just this winter) and this room was as good as any luxury 2br 2bth condo we’ve had! In addition we walked to dinner and drinks each night. Cooper Creek is across the street, the Ditch on 40 is 600’ away, and everything else in town is walking distance if you don’t want to drive. The heavy snow just made it fun for us! If you don’t want to walk the area free bus system will pick you up just a 150’ from the front. The only 4 star I gave is the mattress and pillows were not the best. (Just my opinion) Thanks to the staff for making our stay great!

Great trip. The owner Joe is hands on, always visible, always cleaning. Breakfast worked for what we needed. I’ve been there before and will def go back.

The room was clean. The location was walking distance from shopping and restaurants, and only a short drive from both the slopes and the tubing hills. The breakfast was pretty minimal. Service was by request only.

The beds were very uncomfortable as well as the pillows. They did not stock the room for the number of people in the reservation.

We recently stayed at Valley Hi Motel for two nights in September during the off season. The motel is located right on the main street in town and is very convenient to shops, restaurants and businesses. The room was surprisingly large and very clean. We only had two issues during our stay, one of which was cleared up immediately after talking to the manager at the front desk. Our main issue was very uncomfortable beds. The first night my husband and I slept in one of the two queen beds in the room and had an absolutely terrible night due to the extremely hard mattress. The mattress was so hard my hips were hurting when I woke up in the morning. (I am a side sleeper). The mattress was like sleeping on a hard board. The second night we both decided we had to try the other bed to see if it was better. Well, not very much! We both agreed it was the worst sleep we'd had in a motel ever. The motel is old, but appears to be maintained well except for the mattress issue. Breakfast included donuts, croissants, yogurt and coffee, placed on a counter out in the hallway, rather skimpy. We opted to go out for breakfast instead. Overall, the motel was very average, good for someone looking for a very inexpensive place to stay and no frills.
