I didn't even spent a night there! the room was totaly different tha advertised and with old furniture, smelly and we moved out immediately!

Bardzo fajna lokalizacja. W okolicy sporo knajpek, po drugiej stronie ulicy jest już może. Z minusów, to wi-fi działające tylko przy recepcji i może piętro wyżej. Na pewno nie działo na siódmym piętrze. W łazience niewielkie okienko było stale uchylona i nie dało się zamknąć. Jak na grudzień, to trochę nie bardzo. W pokoju był czajnik, ale nie było żadnej herbaty czy kawy. Więc był praktycznie bezużyteczny. Raczej mało kto podróżuje z własnymi torebkami herbaty. Generalnie miejsce w porządku, za tą cenę, ale niewielkie zmiany znacznie podniosły by jakość pobytu.

Basic family run hotel. If you just need a place to stay this ticks the box.

There is definitely room for improvement for this hotel. Depressing (old and not recently refurbished) lobby and rooms, noise from a nearby construction site, breakfast is only until 9.15 am, not enough plugs for charging phones etc (I had to move some furniture to discover them), and most importantly no wifi in the rooms! Only in the lobby. No hair dryer in the room either but you can borrow one from the reception. On the upside, location is very central, close to restaurants, shops, and public transportation, there was a mini fridge in the room, and a great view to the sea.

Great position and view. A 3-star hotel in 1970s, sadly neglected ever since. Unreliable hot water system, dodgy lift, reception on first floor up 2 dozen marble steps( - very unwelcoming). Advertised as free WiFi - but that is only in breakfast room. WiFi in bedroom is charged for. Minimal TV channels available - in fact none for the first two days of our stay. Saving grace - the view and convenient location. And the friendly staff.

Depends on your expectation. Roma is one of the older hotels and is beginning to show its age. There is a building site across the road where work is in progress 7.00 to 21.00 except on Sundays. There are loads of eating establishments in the area, the buses numerous and often full but don't think of hiring a car. You won't find a parking place easily and the locals drive like they are in a car crash derby.

Noisy due to building work next door starting early and finishing late. Otherwise nice enough budget hotel in a good location, we had a balcony with sea view which was great. Continental breakfast ok. Staff very helpful and friendly.

I WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK TO A CONSULTANT PLEASE. THE LIFT WAS NOT ABLE TO BE USED UNTIL THE CAFE WAS OPENED AT LUNCHTIME LEAVING ME AND OTHER DISABLED PEOPLE TO CLIMB 32 STAIRS. I AM PUTTING IN COMPLAINT TO MALTESE TOURISM BOARD. THEY WOULD NOT GIVE A REFUND AND I FEEL EXPEDIA SHOULD CROSS THEM OFF YOUR LIST THEY NEED A DRACULIS LIFT TO HELP GET BAGS AND PEOPLE TO RECEPTION

The accommodation is value for money. It is basic but comfortable and the location right at the seafront promenade is great.

The room was large but really old, needs updating the hotel.We had a back room with overall view of concrete.Breakfast was just some meat and bread and cereal, not much choice at all.There is no free wifi at this hotel , there is a charge for internetTowels and bedding clean and bathroom large but beds uncomfortable as the mattresses move and slip.

You should remember that this is a budget hotel and that in my opinion the value for money was good. On arrival, I found that the lift was broken. This was repaired the next day but it did mean I had to hump two bags up to the 5th floor (I'm 63), Followed later that day by six 2.5 litre bottles of water. The breakfast was continental without the pastries. Cereals, bread, cold cuts and toast were available each day. Fruit juice and tea or coffee from machines. I was specially pleased about the cleanliness of the room and shower/WC area. Fresh towel every day. The room was quiet at night, punctuated by the sound of distant chimes. The reception area is on the first floor, if a lift is needed to this floor then you will need to go into the restaurant below to use it. My main grumble would be the nature of the bedding. In my opinion, sleeping under the supplied "quilts" was like sleeping under a slab of cement, but each to his own! I was able to improvise with the spare blanket provided. There is no free wifi included in the price but cards can be bought to give a choice of 90 mins in a 24 hour period or 24 hours continual use. Final conclusion? A budget hotel at a reasonable price, with a good location in Sliema.

Hotel Roma was terrible place to stay. When we arrive with my partner, receptionist was very rude. After when we went to the room, I was nearly crying what we get. Room was very very dirty, everywhere was dust, looks like nobody clean at least a month. Bed blanked wasn't clean as well, kettle was dirty as well. I have plenty photo to prove.When I asked receptionist to change a room, she ask me what wrong, and she just told me we don't have any spare room, but that week hotel was nearly emty. If u don't wanna loose your good holiday mood, don't choose this hotel.

good location, very friendly and helpful staff. considering what we paid for a week it was really good value for money. if we go to malta again would have no hesitation in booking hotel roma again

Very friendly people who run this hotel. As my trip was a very short 2 day the room was adequate. Continental breakfast was good. The restaurant attached to hotel was very good with a value menu with polite and efficient staff

If you are looking for a clean, simple hotel with good bus service and shops nearby, this is the perfect location. Breakfast was excellent given the low price, I paid for a single room. Fridge and kettle were an added bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you expect a 3 star luxury hotel with air conditioning and large bathroom for an inexpensive price go stay elsewhere. (Pay twice the price!!)

The woman at the reception was so rude. We even canceled our stay at the Hotel Roma because of her attitude. We went to see how the room is. It was clean ,but bathroom was small.it wasn't what I saw on Internet . This hotel can be good one.we don't know,because we haven't stayed . Maybe just that woman sucked.

Hotel was pretty basic, but this is what you get for the cost of the rooms per night. Shower was so small. Breakfast was very basic. I would not rate this as 3 star hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
