Lovely and well decorated hotel and room. Every amenity well catered for. Loved the rituals toiletries and excellent shower area. Location was perfect in old town Saumur, everything in walking distance. Parking by owner quick and convenient. Would stay again.

This is in a fantastic location. In fact it couldn’t be better. The hosts were wonderful and couldn’t do enough for you. The only reason I couldn’t give it 5 star is because the shower cubicle was so small I couldn’t move around in it. We were in room 21 so perhaps this would be better in other rooms. Otherwise I couldn’t fault it so thank you

Loved this hotel. Super charming. Our host, Regence (?) was the most friendly. Our room was gorgeous. I'd say our only downside was that it was a warm room and the A/c wasn't enough to cool us down. Weird time of year (mid-late October) and it was unseasonably warm. But breakfast was delightful, the hotel super charming. Loved it and would go back again.

The best stay we've had in hotel in france. Hotel is very well located in saumur with great restaurants all around. Hotel is beautifully decorated with an amazing staircase. Our room was stunning. The host was very helpful and fantastic to deal with. I highly recommend tasting some of the whiskeys on display in the bar

Beautiful, peaceful little boutique hotel in the heart of old Saumur, conveniently located in the main town square next to an old church. Very friendly staff, beautifully appointed rooms. We stayed for 3 nights while exploring the Loire Valley Castles. The owner George and his wife were very helpful with sightseeing suggestions and restaurant recommendations. Overall, we felt like we stayed with good friends. The breakfast had local produce and was delicious. The hotel is located next to the town square with an abundance of restaurants and cafes, just steps away from the Castle. The Castle grounds stay open 24/7 and are magnificent. Will definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

Really friendly, well located hotel in Saumur. The proprietors are extremely helpful and breakfast was very good, a wide selection of high quality items. The hotel is in a historic building close to the main square with a nice small bar some parking on site. Well appointed rooms with good air conditioning.

The good - hotel was in the middle of the town and hotel was beautifully interiorly designed. Bed was comfortable.
The bad - the owners were not particulerly friendly to say the least. The bedroom was very dark and gloomy.
We were told to park in a space next to a church opposite the hotel. When we returned to our car 2 days later it was covered in bird excrement which was baked onto the paint work due to the hot sun. It has seriously marked all the paint work which will cost money to repair. The hotel staff would have known about this problem and it turned out there were other parking spaces on the hotel property. NOT impressed.

The hotel is in an excellent location for the pedestrian area of the old town. It’s literally 1 min walk into one of the main squares and 2 mins to the river. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Comfortable beds and a good sized bathroom. Definitely recommended.

Great location in the centre of town literally 30 seconds walk from main square. Lovely cool rooms and friendly staff. Parking was tricky but probably due to a huge festival that weekend would recommend

Lovely boutique hotel. Beautifully decorated, wonderful breakfast and situated close to the square. Regis the owner was so accommodating and helpful. Loved that he just gave us his bikes to use for the day instead of us renting and also loved that he said if we got stuck or had problems, he would come and get us. Very happy to recommend this hotel.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay . The room was perfect - very clean, good a/c, more than comfortable and beautifully presented. We had a very friendly welcome from Regis on arrival and he quickly found us somewhere to park right outside the door. The whole team were second to none. Breakfast was an experience in itself. A seemingly endless supply of local produce. High quality and taken in an elegant and serene breakfast room. We would love to return.
