A hotel with good sea views in a pleasant village. Well appointed rooms, efficient, friendly staff and excellent food at very reasonable prices. Well worth staying here if you are in this area.

Had a lovely view of the Bras d’Ors Lakes. Be sure to call the lodge first if you have a pet. Initially we were assigned to a room that said no animals even thought the property is listed as pet friendly. They were able to accommodate us and switch rooms but the entire place is not pet friendly they have a building that is for people with allergies.

This was a lovely place. Nice, quiet location but close to town. Very spacious rooms with lovely water views. Staff very friendly. Restaurant on site but we didn’t eat there. We were very satisfied.

Great stay at Silver dart lodge. Room was just what we wanted.

it was clean but the rooms are on a split level with no elevator, which was not mentioned, when we checked in they were okay, but when I asked why we were in back, she said anyone who booked with Expedia was NOT given a room with a view. They served a continental breakfast and I was also told because we booked through Expedia it was NOT included. ($18 canadian Although I was not even encouraged to eat thereand we did not tealize the codt until we were presented with the ticket.) There was no reference to silver Dart, but it was a plane built by Alexander Graham Bell. The air conditioner was a window unit and it sounded like a jet plane every time it turned on, which was frequently during the night. the towels were nice but my bed was too soft It was an okay stay but did not meet up to expectations. I would give it a 6 out of 10 and would not recommend.

The buffet was supposed to run from 5:30-8:30 and ran out of both ham and roast beef at 7:10. Unacceptable

I would have liked if there was a breakfast included woth our stay or a discount at the very least. Very nice property otherwise.

Beautiful quiet relaxing spot. Very comfortable furniture inside and out.

Stay away from the lower level. Dehumidifiers working all the time to address the fact that units are below grade.

Beautiful location and views are amazing

This property is well-kept and provided a comfortable and relaxed experience. The staff was friendly and quite helpful - outstanding. The restaurant is good and convenient, but the location is convenient to other eating options in Baddeck. Baddeck is a good location for trips to many points of interest, and lots of hiking trails. Loved it.

This motel has been around for quite a while but it continues to excel in what it does. The bar fridge had no freezer with which I could re-freeze our freezer packs (desirable; I travel with insulin). The "a la carte" breakfast wasn't available as they were catering to a bus tour which used the buffet breakfast. We didn't like this at first because we eat very small breakfasts before we hit the road. But the wait staff gave us a generous discount off the set price because we ate so little. We were unable to check in early, so we had lunch in town. We ate supper in the mote restaurant; this way I could have some wine without driving into town and back. Motel is very convenient to the main highway, so we were able to get going early.

We had room 121. It was a large room and nicely laid out. If it was on the lake side it would have been perfect.

The grounds and staff are very nice. Our room was very spacious and clean with a lovely view of the water.

Its a nice place to stay, within a walkable distance to eateries and the town's attractions. The room was a bit outdated, but still nice, and the bed was comfortable. The AC unit is kind of old and noisy, but it does its job. Everything else was fine, nothing to complain on. We also used a pool which is a nice addition during hot summer days. Will stay here again.

It’s a nice property to stay if you’re in Baddeck or Cape Breton Island
