We booked, and paid for, a king size room. Upon arrival there were not any king size rooms available and we ended up in an ADA two queen bed room. They said that the room type was not guaranteed through 3rd party reservation systems. This was incredibly disappointing since we were up for my wife's birthday and we booked well in advance.

The room is lovely and the bathroom is spacious, clean and modern.
The bed itself was a little hard and the pillows are too big, bulky and heavy. We both felt like they were to high and our necks are stiff this morning. Additionally, the linens feel cheap.
It’s a wonderful room for hanging out in, just not so much for getting rest!

The hotel it self is very nice but costomer service at the front desk leaves alot to be desired. Went to check in and the staff continued their personal conversations for a while before even acknowledging us standing there, no hello no anything. The worker covered up her name with her hair so we couldnt report it. Very rude.

The property itself was ok and worth the value, but almost every employee we encountered were unhelpful and rude. The front desk attendant upon check in was the the only courteous and friendly interaction we had during our entire stay.

This was a great place to stay. We booked through Hotels.com and found that we did not get the same benefits as we would have if we had booked through the players rewards program. Still it was a great place, but the pool and hottub (outside) were closed for repairs during our stay. We were made aware of it in advance, so it was not an issue. Would stay again!

Very nice hotel. My only complaint is that we had to pay $20 to check in early. Then that evening our keys didn't work. We left by 9 am the next day, so I think that early check in fee is ridiculous.

We go to Ameristar as a quick get away from Denver to use the pool and dining. The pool and the hot tubs are great and the hotel provides lot of towels on site. The food and service at the Fireside restaurant were very good.

The Ameristar is our go to place when traveling to Black Hawk to visit with friends. But the room we had this time wasnt up to their usual standards. The room was extremely hot and the thermostat wouldnt let us adjust anything at all.
The bedside lamp switch wouldnt work and there was a smoke smell in the room.

easy parking. Check out staff very friendly food was extra good and the hot tub and pool were wonderful. Would’ve loved to try the spa just didn’t get time. The room and bed were wonderfu. ! will go back, beautiful place to walk and see the view as well.

My stay was okay
The bed sheets were nasty amd when i asked them to come change them nasty sheets they made the bed and left the nasty sheets. The maid was mad herself at whoever made that bed with them dirty sheets. Front desk.is horrible they never answer the phone. Phone service sucks period when trying to reach the hotel. Other than that was an okay stay.
