This was a very good choice for central Chichester: an easy walk from the station and out to Pallant House Gallery and to the jazz club venue- and indeed also to the independent cinema and the theatre.
A good value stay at a busy time of year. Bathroom was spacious and modern and we appreciated the bath / shower combination

I booked this spa hotel as it is perfectly located. As it was my partners 60th birthday I had arranged lots of lovely treats. Sadly he went down with Covid and the hotel wouldn’t change the booking so I went alone as I didn’t want to lose the money. Everything was good, staff excellent, however the hydrotherapy pool was closed for repair and the steam was closed for maintenance!! Overall the weekend was quite disappointing. Staying at a spa hotel with no working facilities is like watching a Christmas light switch on with no lights !!

Convenient for my stay in Chichester
3.0
Nice hotel and staff but too expensive for what it is.
Parking is a pain ! Its difficult to get a space in the hotel car park and required several visits to check if there was one free. The street parking is for an hour only and costs £1.90 an hour although it is free between 5:30 pm and 9:00 am. The other option is to park in the public car park and pay around £10 for 12 hours. If your fortunate enough to get a space then the hotel has the cheek to charge £10 a day for parking and this is after youve paid £160 a night for the room. Breakfast isnt included in this price either.
Our room looked out onto a restaurant and a fairly busy road.
Ive stayed in hotels which are cheaper, quieter, with pools, jacuzzis, steam rooms, acres of gardens and plenty of free parking. I wont be revisiting this hotel again in tue future.
The one plus is its in a good loction for visiting Chichester town itself.

The hotel was conveniently located for the town centre. Excellent shops, bars & restaurants.
The hotel is over four levels & unfortunately the lift was broken during our visit. Being on the top floor this was quite a challenge especially with luggage. Having said that it didn't ruin our stay. The staff were lovely & we would thoroughly recommend a visit.

It wasn't explain there was a £10 charge for the parking , just added to my bill and the property could do with some renovation work. Also the reception desk was a mess

Laura on the front desk was lovely. Room was comfortable but annoyingly my complimentary gin was gone before I got there. Restaurant service was brilliant and my wife loved her massage. We brought our ten week old baby and the team couldn’t have been more helpful. Will defo come back and try the junior suite next time.

The fixtures and fittings of the hotel themselves are lovely and the beds are comfy, however I had a room which I’d describe as being built for hobbits. I’m 5ft9 and had to duck under the door to get int he room, hit my head many times on the ceiling and just felt for the price that my room was very small for what I paid for it. I went in other rooms whilst I was there and the size disparity is enormous so I felt very overcharged for what I received.

We enjoyed our stay here, this was t third time we’ve been here lovely rooms nice people and very local to the centre

Brilliant team, super service and great food. Parking was tight and very small for the size of the hotel. Parking fee was a little cheeky but not unheard of. The room was too hot - had to have the fan on ALL night which was incredibly loud.

We only stayed one night & would visit again.
We loved the history, the character & the style of the hotel, super comfy bed & great walk in shower, lovely touch with the complimentary gin & tonic.
We were a little disappointed that the bedroom windows were not cleaner, the glass was smeary & dust marked & the window frames (esp on the cross member) were grimy.
All the staff we friendly, charming, professional & knowledgeable.
4 1/2 star rating!
See you soon 😃

Loved our room, the complimentary Gin was greatly appreciated and enjoyed!! Bed was super comfy slept really well. Staff really friendly and we had the whole spa area to ourselves! What’s not to love. ❤️

Harbour Hotel is largely as described. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, with a large comfortable bed. The spa is sufficient for a hotel of this size.
Our stay was ruined however, due to extreme noise from inconsiderate planning. The ceilings/ floors in this hotel provide zero noise cancellation. The hotel booked a wedding, which our room was directly above. From 3pm - 11pm our room was literally shaking. Vibrations and from the relentless sounds of Cotton Eyed Joe, and Agadoo did not provide the "perfect space to unwind after a busy day", as otherwise advertised.
For these eight hours we were unable to use our room, so explored the town. We would highly recommend Turkuaz Social: great food and service.

Check in staff very friendly and upgraded our room. Had a lovely nights sleep. Bed was big and comfortable. Good location, only a few minutes walk into the city centre.

A slightly disappointing stay. Not much room to move around in our Dr Luxe bedroom. Service was very slow at dinner and we were not given the A La Carte menu. Breakfast was also slow. Would not stay again.

The Harbour Hotel is very convenient for the theatre and town. Very friendly staff. Had Dinner and two breakfasts all were very good. Really enjoyed my stay here and will return.

Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff, well situated for the Festival Theatre, shopping and Cathedral also 5min taxi ride from the station.
6.0
Lovely quirky hotel and the little touches were appreciated, such as a nespresso coffee machine and gin in the room on arrival. The hotel does not have air conditioning but a large fan was provided. Sadly, the room was very warm and the fan, albeit effective, was noisy and therefore sleep was limited! The winter duvet was changed for a summer one upon request, but other items mentioned as requiring attention, such as the leaking coffee machine, went without being addressed during our 4 day stay. The reception team were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Quality of everything at a reasonable price

Hotel was over priced. Food was cold, parking was inadequate with not enough parking spaces for guests. Parking was first come first served and was charged at £10 per night, elevator was out of order for the second floor. The stairs to the second floor was steep and dangerous, especially for those with limited mobility. The elevator was out of commission for the whole 4 days of our visit. The room we reserved was advertised as a superior luxury and was disappointingly small with flat pack wardrobe and small desk. The breakfast was charged extra on top of the £287 per night. The hotel building needs updating to keep in pace with the 21st century.

Great location, nice hotel, staff friendly, bar area comfy. Room had everything you needed, very comfy bed , hot room as we were on top floor but had a very welcome fan in the room which was needed all night .
Only complaint was we were right next to the door onto that landing and nobody thought about the door banging closed even the staff at 6:30 am when delivering bills to the rooms . Would like to stay abut different floor and part of the hotel .

Super experience from the pre-arrival call through to checkout. Beautiful room, comfortable and lots of nice little touches.

Location was great and within the city which I wanted, my room was small so with luggage for two was quite cluttered, understand that there were other rooms with maybe different size but not offered

Really lovely hotel, excellent staff and wonderful room. Beautiful area, and very convenient for the centre and station access. The only downside was the location of the room; the room itself was wonderful, very clean and the bed was very comfy. However, the stairwell and lift were right next to our room, in a small corridor, and the door to the stairwell doesn't have a soft closing door. All night, and the morning after, the door banged shut and it was disappointing for such a peaceful room that the room wasn't soundproof - it kept us awake and was a disappointing feature of the hotel, particularly as our room was a superior room!
3.0
Car parking was available but extremely tight to actually get into and use. Lovely welcome from front desk when we arrived and service from restaurant staff was also great. The building is beautiful but also extremely creaky and that meant that every time we (or the room above us) moved everything creaked and disturbed. The room had a small fridge in the wardrobe which hummed loudly so we had to switch it off to be able to sleep and the room above's bathroom extractor fan was like a road drill going off in our room at 6:30am. The restaurant service was welcoming and friendly but the food was expensive and not worth the money. Pasta was solid with ragu plopped on top and the steak was over cooked. Dessert was half a spoonful of sorbet for £3.50 (I had more on a cone the following day for less money at a local shop!) I really wanted to love the hotel as I travel for work in this area a lot but i will not be back here I'm afraid.

Lovely old building and the staff are wonderful. I found it very noisy, my room overlooked a car park and with no double glazing I was woken by people leaving and the bottle bank being emptied before 7am.

Our 4th visit to Chichester, a town we love. The Harbour Hotel is newly decorated and truly lovely. Positives: fridge with water replaced daily, electric kettle, excellent bed with USB chargers at nightstands, towel heater in bath actually worked and there was always plenty of hot water in the walk-in shower. The hotel was very quiet and we loved the views of chimneys and park. The Ship restaurant and bar in the hotel serves fine meals in an elegant setting. Festival Theatre, Pallant House Gallery, Cathedral, Novium Museum all easy walks, as are restaurants, pubs, Boots, M&S food court and lots of shopping opportunities. Staff are welcoming and kind. Special kudos to Tanni, who was especially helpful to us.
We don’t expect hotel rooms or closet space in the UK to be ample as in US, so that’s never a surprise. Only negative: safes in hotel not operational and lift is tiny and lurches, but we felt lucky to have one at all!
We absolutely intend to return to the Harbour Hotel and recommend it highly.

A lovey hotel and certainly at the top end of the market, the room was lovely, the bathroom was small but modern. The free Gin is a nice touch! The spa looked special but didn’t use, however the restaurant was excellent. Would definitely return.
