Air conditioning wasn't the best to reach all rooms in the really hot weather and fans didn't go high enough to make it feel ok in one of the bed rooms.

Spent 7 nights in the 3 bedroom apartment. An excellent stay. The private roof top area which included an electric BBQ was a great place to enjoy lunch or dinner with a wonderful view. Kitchen well equipped and beds all very comfortable. Great to walk out directly to beach without having to cross any roads. Friendly and helpful manager. Would love to have stayed longer.

Great location, and views of ocean, lots of whale action while we were there. Good size kitchen. Entertainment area by the pool was very convenient for family gathering.

The property is located on the sand dunes at the patrolled Marcoola beach. Across the road are a few cafes to get morning coffee and also casual dinner options (fish chips etc). The property next door has an open to public bar and bistro. We have found this property to be well suited to our needs as a family with small children. On site there is a pool, bbq area, tennis court and basketball. Adjacent to the property is a small kids park and walking distance is a skate park.

Sam Marino by the Sea has an out standing location, a great park on the boardwalk at the rear of the complex and a very short walk to the life guard patrolled beach, perfection. At the front of the complex across the road were all the coffee / take away shops, chemist, servo etc., very convenient. The complex itself has a great recreational area with tennis courts, heated pool and BBQ area, the grounds are extremely well maintained. Our unit was perfect, it had everything you could possibly want and overlooked the park, it was surprisingly very quiet. Could not fault the cleanliness of the complex nor the unit. On arrival I was checked in by Richard who with his wife Leith are the on site managers, Richard showed me my parking spot, assisted with luggage to the unit and gave a brief but detailed tour of said unit, he was incredibly kind, helpful and knowledgeable while being very professional, my grandsons x 2 (5) called him " that nice man', high praise indeed!

Great location, handy access to beach, great welcome on arrival, secure parking. Apartment clean and comfortable.

Fantastic location and an absolutely wonderful couple managing the property. It was very clean in both the room and around the facilities. Unfortunately we were only there for a couple of nights as it would be a good spot for a longer stay

This place has undergone lots of upkeep and is well maintained. Everything was spotless, car park easy to get in and out of. Kitchen well stocked with equipment. New park right next to complex. Richard went the extra mile to help out. We loved our stay and felt looked after.

Richard and Leirh who manage this hotel were unbelieveable. Their service went beyond and above. The view from the apartment and nearness to the sea were super pluses. I'd go back to this apartment in a New York minute. Lovely peaceful stay.

Had a wonderful and relaxing time. Walking distance to beach was great and the pool was a nice way to relax after being out during the day.

My stay was brief but very comfortable. The onsite mamagers are beautiful people. They are very welcoming and hospitable. Made me feel very safe as I was on my own (hubby flew in and out the same day)The roof top area exclusively for our unit was incredible. We would definitely stay here again, hopefully for longer.

We initially checked in to a garden view (2 bdrm) apartment, which was lovely, but didn't have a view as good as the first time we stayed, so I contacted the manager (Neil) and he arranged for us to get the ocean view penthouse for a modest increase. The view from there was amazing and the room was lovely. Unfortunately, our little 1 yr old became very sick (nothing to do with San Marino) and had to go to hospital, which kind of spoiled our holiday, but Neil and Jody were so helpful and really went above and beyond our expectations in helping us in our difficult time. I can't thank them enough and recommend San Marino (and it's staff) as a great place to stay!

A really comfortable stay in a 3 bedroom unit for 6 of us.

We spent Easter in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor (with a lift) and had an amazing time. The apartment is well set out with 2 bathrooms, all the kitchen facilities you need and it was lovely and clean!!! No one bothered us for the whole 4 days but were available if we needed them for anything - what more can you ask?
