Nicely appointed. Large room that is very well set up. Friendly and helpful staff. The coffee maker in the room is a little bit difficult to fill with water as it is already plugged in behind fridge, but coffee is always ready in the lobby. Breakfast, although not free, was nice. We enjoyed our stay.

The interior of the building has recently undergone a renovation. It looked great and everything was very clean and modern. However, the staff were mostly unhelpful and unfriendly. There was a point when my daughter and I were locked out of our room for 30 minutes and no one was at the front desk - in the middle of the day. It made us borderline late to her basketball game. I ended up leaving and driving her to Dick's to buy new shorts instead of waiting around another 30 minutes. It says breakfast is served at 6:30am, but it's really served at 7am. And it's not worth the money. We were the 3rd family through and they had already ran out of bacon and bagels. Save your money - go to Chickfila around the corner. Not to mention the lady running the breakfast was unfriendly and short. Finally, it boasts a restaurant, but it was either not opened or unstaffed during our stay. There wasn't a single person in that area the entire 72 hours stay (Friday - Sunday).

Construction containers were everywhere as they remodel the entire building.

We stay here all the time when we have to come to birmingham for doctor's appointments.. This past time was for a concert we've always had a great experience there.

Everything was great I wish they had a balcony or to make it where we can go smoke. And we were so excited to swim in the pool have a 5 year old little boy and it would have been fine if the air conditioner didn't come on but where they had the air conditioner on and get tried to say kicked on and it felt so cold you couldn't even be in the water. They did try to come and fix it but they didn't have a key for it so it's not the people that work there is fault they definitely should be able to cut the air off in the hallways were super super cold.

The staff was wonderful and friendly. The location was close to a lot of food and taprooms. Great! The room had stains on the carpet and ceiling and the bathroom caulk by the tub was either stained with mold or had active mold. We found a dirty sock underneath one of the beds.

Construction woke us a 6:45 a.m. Horrible when we were up late at a party and looking forward to sleeping late. Mentioned to clerk at check out he didnt seem very concerned. Just said sorry

The lobby smelled like a dog kennel. We could hear everyone around us. The room smelled like mildew. Expected more with the price I paid. Won’t stay again

Great experience.

Hotel was generally clean and quiet but we did not get the room we reserved, the toilet would not flush, and the water temperature was extremely difficult to control. We used Expedia to book a suite with a jetted tub (my wife had fallen recently and she was looking forward to the jets providing some relief from her aches and pains). Sheff we arrived after a long day of traveling, we were informed that the suite were all full. The receptionists initially stated that the 3rd party sites (Expedia) are not always 'up to date' on what is available but later changed her story when trying to get me to sign up for the IHG rewards plan. She told me that rewards members have priority becoming a member might prevent me from getting bumped again. If we were not so tired, I would have walked out right then and there. We were given a standard room and comped breakfast each day and 1 free drink for each of us. (We used the free breakfast on the 2nd day, before checking out, but never went to the bar). Once in the room, I used the restroom, then my wife. Worked fine for me, but when my wife tried to flush, it did not work. After a brief troubleshooting, we realized that the tank was just refilling VERY slowly, and we were able to flush again in about 30 minutes. Since we were in town to visit family, and did not spend much time in the room, there was not much effect, just annoying. Although not enough to warrant finding another hotel right away, we will never return.

This location is on a strip, close enough to shopping and fine dining, yet, just far enough for quiet and comfort. The staff is courteous and accommodating enough to greet you, make small talk, but not over the top and loud.

Easy check in and very clean

I really like the whole experience. The young man checked me in is phenomenal.Jay needs a raise and promotion! Definitely went over and beyond. But, all of the staff there was wonderful. The restaurant connected was incredible! The room was great as well, but the jacuzzi tub didn't seem like it was cleaned thoroughly. But everything else was perfect

Overall, great stay. There was a small fire on the 4th floor (my room was on the 2nd floor). The fire alarm was activated and everyone evacuated timely. We were able to return to our rooms after about an hour and a half outside.

Carpet was very dirty with dirty spots all over. Could not get hot water out of the sink tap. Rest was fine.

Way over priced for the service you get. Plus no good amenities.
