The only problem is just too much noise in the street that all orthewise everything was perfect

This property is hell. It is falling apart, the rooms are horrific and unwelcoming. But what truly makes it appalling is the staff - the front desk were actively hostile even when asked simple things, ie when room hadn't been cleaned. Over a 6 day stay there were issues every day, from room not being cleaned, minibar not even checked all week, a 7am gym class which made the room vibrate. Honestly was the most deeply disappointing stay I had in 2 months of travelling, go anywhere else in Medellin, but not here - save your money

The property is decent but seems to be a little old. The interior and rooms with hot tubs did not seem to be cleaned well. The hot tub had hair in it etc. The area surrounding the building is straight 3rd world. We had an armed guard at our hotel door 24/7. Rooftop pool had total coverage no sun exposure, and at night was like a very dead lounge. I won’t stay again at this hotel. The surrounding area was too dangerous.

The staff at the Charlee are Exceptional. Exceeded my needs on every level. Great location and stunning property . The people you have working there make it great ! I know I’ll miss some names but Karen , Yuliana , Anderson and the 2 Jorge’s .

An excellent safe property with a very helpful staff, especially Anderson. He was there to do whatever was needed and always offered to help.

Staff is extremely helpful with the check in process and explained everything in detail of what the hotel has to offer

This hotel is in the middle of everything, perfect location. Beautiful spacious rooms. If you're traveling to Poblado in Medellín this hotel is great.

I liked the amenities in the room and the decor. It was also in the middle of everything which means easy walking distance to everything in the city area. Liked the roof top bar and view too.

Loved the attentive staff, their amenities, especially their gym and beautiful rooftop pool and views! Breakfast was amazing as well!

Everything about the Hotel Charlee is amazing! I went for a mother-daughter/birthday trip in August for the festival of flowers…. The excellent service started even before the trip when the Concierge reached out to ask if we were planning anything special or needed any help with reservations. Yuliana & George went over the top above and beyond to plan and decorate the room for my mom‘s 77th birthday with beautiful balloons, gorgeous roses, champagne, and perfume. It was so beyond special. They also helped us with all of our reservations plans tours, restaurants music there was not one detail missed, they are truly exceptional and the hotel should be so proud to have them. Breakfast/lunch team is also amazing Samuel, Freddy, Javier… Winston! The hotel has so many special touches every day for happy hour. A rolling bar comes up to your room.! Honestly, there’s just not enough words to compliment how amazing on so many levels this hotel is five stars is just not enough!

Recently stayed for short stay in between traveling. The hotel was nice enough amd aesthetically pleasing, modern boho vibe. The room is not well lit despite all lights turned on, our room had a lovely enclosed patio, nice enough except the possibility of bugs is real. My sister found a huge roach/water bug on her bed!!! The bathroom is glass walled so not really private for showering or using toilet. I traveled with my siblings and we had 6 rooms total all different ages. We all agreed the staff was not the best. Nothing in particular but just “blah and meh”. We went to the rooftop bar, nice setting and waitress complicated the purchase of a water bottles!!! She wouldn’t charge the water bottle to the room! Also, $7.50 USD for that water! Location: it’s right in the center of clubs so you’ll hear the music until at least 3:00 am. Cool if that’s why you’re there. My group knew to stay in Poblado because it’s the safe and nice part of town. Do your research on locations with Poblado, they don’t all have to be right in party central. For the one night we spent, we were fine. Would not stay for the entirety of the trip.
