Location was perfect, a lovely (short) walk in to the town centre. Hotel was quiet, rooms cleaned daily (and well.) Owners very welcoming, helpful and friendly.

More coat hangers would have been handy. Breakfast was fine, though nothing special and hot drinks were from a machine. Lots of stairs to reach the first floor! Parking extremely difficult to find.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was immaculate and had a typically French charm - not flashy but really welcoming and cozy. Fabulous Rhône views, you are right on it and Arles Centre is literally around the corner. Great spot!

Room was a little worn with a musty carpet smell. Not enough electrical outlets and inconveniently located. the hotel advertises air conditioning, but it was "off for the season" even though it was almost eighty degrees. if A/C is seasonal, hotel should advertise so. there are people who need a/c for health reasons.

Super friendly front desk staff. Great location walkable to all the major sights of the city. Also pretty close to the train station, which happens to be a good spot to park a car for free overnight--I did so with no issues. But it's on the edge of town so isn't chaotic or overly busy. My room was comfortable, with a small desk and a sitting area, so plenty of room for me. I found the mattress and pillows comfy. Having AC is great and I also loved the metal blinds that helped me sleep in! The breakfast spread for 9 euros was standard but reasonable--boiled eggs, some meats and cheeses, pastries, cereals, juice, coffee machine, etc. With a few extra touches could be a 3-star property.

My shower went cold pretty quickly. I adjusted it and it got hot again, but then cold again. It might've been me. I didn't worry much about it because I only stayed 1 night and only needed a quick shower. There was some transfer of noise from the bar down the block but it was drowned out by the AC and ear plugs.

the rooms were clean. the air conditioning worked well. the hotel was close to the train station and Arles is small so it was close enough to everything.

We most appreciated the cleanliness of our room, the natural air flow with the window open, and the air conditioning. Our room was also very quiet. Great attention to detail at this wonderful place.

the situation of the Regence was convenient for the station and overlooked the beautiful Rhône with a view of the sunrise and sunset.

The hotel was in a great location- across the street from the river, walking distances to all the sites we wanted to see. A short walk to the train station. The room had AC for the warm evenings and plenty of space with a small table and chairs.

The bed was firm.

The location was wonderful for access from the train station and to exploring the old city. The hosts were friendly and spoke English, as well as multiple other languages. They made every effort to help us make the most of our time in Arles. Our large (superior) room had a great view of the Rhone River. The air conditioning worked well. Would happily return to Le Regence on any later visit.

There was no interior or exterior lounge or seating area and the chairs in the room did not invite lingering.

Exactly what we expected and needed. Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room, and great location.

Only thing is there isn’t an elevator. Not a big deal but if you’re planning on bringing a big bag or two, make sure you can carry it up the stairs!

We paid happily for a room with view to the rhone river, but the main window was in the bathroom and very big... the bottom wasn't see through but steel felt weird. Also very small TV with not much options... But after all great hotel!!

The location is good, Arles is small so you can walk anywhere, and the hotel is right in front of the spot where Van Gogh painted "Starry Night over the Rhone" (which was a big plus for us as we love art). The room size and decoration is perfectly acceptable.

The bathroom is tiny and outdated, and the shower is not particularly confortable. We were not expecting a lot more for a 2* hotel, but maybe it is a bit overpriced for this category.

Extremely welcoming and helpful staff, both on arrival and on departure. My bicycle was garaged, and early departure was dealt with hassle free the following morning. Very conveniently located for excellent local restaurants and the railway station.

We were really happy with this independent hotel. The location was great and we had a beautiful view of the Rhone River. The hotel is just 100 meters from Arles Old Town. We found a parking place with no problems in the "green zone" - maybe 100 meters from the hotel. The staff really cares about you. Breakfast was simple but good, we got everything we wanted. We will stay again!

It was our second stay within a few weeks. Will go back on the next visit too. It is perfectly located and great starting point to explore Arles.
