Very nice boutique hotel near beautiful Jardin des Plantes and a stone throw from the city centre. It's a converted chapel and beautiful details have been kept to create a modern stylish space. Staff was lovely and breakfast delicious.

This stay was the last night of a three week holiday which was planned last January as a stop over en route back to get our ferry. I thought i had prebooked parking but a change in their available parking meant i did not get a space. However Alexanne on reception came to rescue and not only gave up her space she also booked us a very good restaurant at short notice. Whilst Our room was very tight spacewise the hotel is lovely. i will know to book a bigger room. we had a super stay because Alexanne went the extra mile for us after our long journey. Thank you it made a huge difference.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a beautiful building, like a converted Church. Location is very convenient for shops and restaurants and a short walk to the train station.

Great location beside jardiniere des plantes and train station. Room was basic but comfortable and clean. Quirky building only 24 bedrooms. Staff were lovely and gave us great recommendations.

Great hotel, very beautiful, has air-conditioning, the staff is beyond amazing! We got “Seduction” room and it was very comfortable, nice mattress and bedding. Very close to the center and to the train station. Has parking! Would highly recommend!

Sozo is a different hotel. Quirky and fantastic. Highly recommended. Beautiful park opposite. 5 minutes to the station. Great staff and wonderful rooms.

I had a pleasant stay here. Very comfortable and modern accommodation in a former church.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Close proximity to town centre, numerous decent restaurants and less than five minutes from the train station. Will definitely stay here again when in Nantes.

Standard room was very small and basic, no upgrade for VIP sadly. Breakfast was OK but at £20 a lot for what you got. Beautiful hotel though.

We stayed 1 night at SOZO and wicked we stayed longer. It was a very special and unique experience. We booked into a room with a stained glass window above our bed and it was beautiful to watch it glow and light up in the morning.

Hotel is in a converted church with lovely architectural details in the room. Excellent service , very clean with comfortable bed and nice amenities like coffee machine, tea service and Sothys quality products. Bath robes and slippers and a nice water bar in the lobby. And a grand piano ! Parking on site and well located next to jardin des plantes.

Beautifully renovated chapel which is now a hotel. The architecture is fantastic. We had a Tentacion room and loved it. Lovely staff. Great toiletries. Private parking which is on site but you have to pay. Walk to train station and hop in a tram - free at weekends and public holidays.

Really cool hotel in former church. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Easy walk from train station, and right next to a large park, which is nice, but it is several blocks to restaurants and any kind of retail. Not an issue for us, but guests should be prepared for that.

This hotel provides a unique, delightful experience. This clean, new, modern hotel was built into a centuries old building formerly used as a nunnery, school and various other endeavors over the years. I would rebook any time I get back to Nantes.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is situated in a quiet street alongside the Botanical Gardens, very near the train station and tram stop with easy access by transport or on foot to all Nantes has to offer. The parking for the hotel is a payable extra.
The renovation of this former church to hotel is well done. There are photos displayed in the hotel which record the work. Evidence of the church is still to be seen inside the hotel. As for the exterior, little has changed.
We had a warm and helpful welcome.
Our room was comfortable, warm and quiet, but smaller than we had hoped for. We were surprised to have paper cups for tea or coffee in our room.
We cannot comment on the breakfast as at an additional 38euros per couple, we thought it expensive.

The location is very convenient as it is close to the railway station and to the city center.
On the other hand the spa which can be taken for a short time only is very expensive which is different from other hotels.

We thought it would be cool to stay in an old church. It was also very close to the train station which was convenient. The main lobby was really beautiful, retaining elements of the church with the windows and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean and comfortable but very little of the church was noticeable in it except maybe the window. I think leaving some of the walls bare would have added to the charm. Our room didn't look anything like the Hotels.com photo.

It is the coolest hotel in Nantes, and perhaps the coolest hotel we have ever stated in -- it is a former Chapel with really good contemporary interior design. The staff is extraordinarily kind too.

A church that is converted to a hotel. The rooms are interesting because of the church windows in each room. However, the rooms are real tiny (no room even for a small desk). The tiny bathroom is separated from the room with a set of bars. The beds are marginally acceptable for comfort. Otherwise, the rooms are clean. The location of the hotel is good -- right across from a park that opens to the center of the city on the other side.

An old church that has been done up sympathetically, with a modern touch...with good heating (always good for getting off a motorbike in late spring ;-). The staff were helpful. Safe parking out of sight for the motorbike. Good location close to a lush park, also near the river with good restaurants close by.

Unique and beautiful. Exceptional staff. Really great location right next to jardin des plantes (beautiful park to walk thru every morning on the way to anywhere in the city), right near station and easy walk thru park to old town center. Loved my room, will be back again. Exceptional stay. Felt like home.
