Very friendly staff, Lovely breakfast, Very pleasant stay,

Lovely gardens, very dog friendly, near the seafront and shops. The room could have been cleaner, and the pool was too cold.

Really enjoyed our stay, the breakfasts were amazing. Only downside was the collection of moths in the bathroom due to a window too high to close. Also there were more guests cars than parking spaces.

The room was on the ground floor 2 doors away from the pool room and someone was playing til 1:30am which kept us awake. The room smelt like wet dog and just felt unclean. The location is perfect and the grounds are beautiful. We were very disappointed as I expect there are some lovely rooms unfortunately we didn’t get one.

Excellent location with free parking. Lovely gardens surrounding hotel. Indoor pool free to use. Easy access to Teignmouth and all its amenities within easy walking distance.

The location was great

We booked our trip for my Birthday. The hotel and staff were very friendly and loved the dogs. The hotel and grounds are charming. The plumbing was very poor we did not have any hot water in the bathroom sink and the shower was very poor. Breakfast was not so good and they did not keep up with it and kept running out of everything. After our evening meal we went to go into the lounge and a group of women were sat on the sofa's with a takeaway.

Room very clean and spacious warm welcome from reception. Good parking. Gardens stunning beaytiful walk down to beach tgrough gardens. Beautiful pool 25metre very clean comfortable temperature. I went here to relax destress swim snd walk did all. Quiet at night. Staff lovely breakfast great. Overall will vusit again . Definitely.

The room was really warm, the bathroom still had some toothfloss on the floor from previous guests, the shower was dripping very much and was Not very clean at the handles. The shower tray for shower gel and shampoo was metal and started to rust, no high enough hanging space for towels. In the bathroom fan was a lot of dust and spider web. As well quite dusty all over the bathroom in general. The over all room was spacious. The headboard from the bed fell down, right after sitting on the bed, behind was the previous colour of the wall, the lights above the bed were painted inside a bit as well... The food was not nice at all, when mentioned to the staff, they looked at us as If we spoke a different language. No apologies. The expensive beer (£5.20 for an IPA) was brought to us in cans with some dirty Pepsi glasses. The breakfast was a sad story and although we arrived 30min before finish, it should have been refilled. The walls are paper thin and we were able to hear the people below talking/TV/snoring. Over all, although only 3 Stars, it should at least have been Clean and friendly staff.

The hotel and grounds were so relaxing the staff were all friendly and helpful. The only thing that could have been a bit better was the choices at breakfast. The food was very good but was the same could of done with a bit of variation

Absolutely beautiful holiday. Our club room was lovely. The staff were very polite and friendly. The breakfast was perfect a large choice of everything and the waitresses were very helpful and busy. We use the indoor swimming pool which was nice and clean. We had one evening meal which was perfect.The hotel gardens is very well looked after with the garden staff busy cutting the grass and planting and maintaining it all. Will definitely go back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Staff very friendly. If you have mobility problem the walk into town can be a struggle because of the hill.we didnt realise the no 2 bus went from outside the hotel until the last day .

The good. This is a fabulous place, dog friendly, clean, good breakfast and great staff. Wonderful grounds and close to the beach and town. The bad. We were in a family room 203. The shower was so slow and we had to let it run for a while to warm up. The bed is really, really lumpy and uncomfortable, mattress needs changing badly. So no sleep possible. Such a shame and so disappointing. We’d stay again but not in that bed.!!!

Main building, the grounds and the new swimming pool complex were very impressive. Conversely our room was sparsely furnished with dated furniture, and the bathroom was in need of maintenance!

The hotel was in beautiful grounds but close to the seafront. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was large with a balcony and sea view. It was great having the pool, which I had to myself on occasion. Would definitely stay there again.

Well situated hotel set in beautiful grounds. 5 minute walk to the beach. Room unfortunately faced the road and made the room noisy, the beds were uncomfortable and I suspect the mattresses need replacing. Lovely refurbished pool and the staff were helpful. Food was very average, Hotel was 3 star and I think that was a fair mark

Great hotel in a very good location to the beach, bars and restaurants etc. staff were very friendly and dog savvy. Buffet breakfast was superb and my dog was allowed in the restaurant and even had his own sausage. (Thank you). Will definitely stop again. Helios

Stopped here on the way to Cornwall. Great for our dog, staff were very helpful, and the grounds are fabulous

As I walked into the hotel, I was blown away with the ambiance and the architecture. Greeted with a warm welcome! View from hotel of the sea was breathtaking. Lovely property.

Our experience overall unsatisfactory the room was not as described lack of ventilation due to inability to open window lack of space no room for bedside cabinet Bed uncomfortable due to raised bed springs when weight applied causing painful sleep,shower fitted into the eves leading to water flow missing the body quite frankly the list is endless booked for 6 nights relocated to another hotel after 3 nights

This hotel is very friendly the room for ourselves and grandson was very comfortable
