What a lovely little hotel! A very, very nice stay and our host, Oleg, was incredibly helpful - truly above and beyond as he helped us with bags, made a tasty breakfast for us to enjoy before our early flight, and even gave us some homemade Moldovan wine to sample - which was absolutely delicious. Great location just down the street from some traditional Moldovan restaurants and a supermarket. Wetbar was stocked and not at all expensive. Please stay at this hotel and say hi to Oleg for me. You will be so impressed!

Nice hotel, friendly staff, delicious breakfast

Komilfo did a great job of accommodating us. A sofa bed was not functioning properly so they let us stay in a significantly larger room at no added cost. Place was clean, breakfast was more than adequate. And location was just outside of the city center. No complaints whatsoever. At least one staff member was able to speak English at any given point, even though I am able to fumble through Romanian if need be!

This hotel is a hidden gem. I really enjoyed this hotel. Breakfast was good as well. Highly recommended

The Komilfo Hotel is my go-to hotel every time I'm in Chisinau. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very nice with cable tv, air conditioning, and comfortable beds. I look forward to my stays at the Komilfo.

Friendly and helpful staff, in a good location close to the centre with a tasty and varied breakfast buffet. The room was very spacious, well equipped, comfortable and quiet, even though it was on the ground floor right next to reception. For a two night stop over, I couldn't have asked for more, great value for money.

Receptionist was helpful but property wasn't quite what expected.

The property was great. It was very nice and beautiful with enough space for myself. Great breakfast foods and it always was clean. The ladies at the front desk spoke very little English but were very helpful-I knew Romanian so that helped. The room was always kept clean unless I asked not to clean it. I didn’t like the fact that there was staff around 24/7 kind made me feel uncomfortable and that at the end I had to pay for amenities out of pocket such as the laundry the stuff I used from mini bar and other small services. I thought all that was included. When I read online so that needs to change. I didn’t even get a receipt or any paper stating what I was charged for and that made me feel very uncomfortable—used. I did like the staff as I mentioned very good service from them. Being in a gated areas was also great. There was a gas station right down the street that was convenient and walking up to the center was great. I had a good time over all. Just need the prices for laundry and other small amenities included with the price.

Great hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Komilfo Hotel was a quaint 15 room hotel with a friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast was nice. The location was a bit out of the way from Central Park and restaurants, especially in February when it's freezing in Chisinau. Occasionally, especially in the morning, I could hear staff either in the kitchen or laundry room. They could be a bit loud for early morning. Otherwise, overall it was a nice stay.
