Hillgrove was just a few blocks from the harbor. Far enough away so it was quiet and plenty of parking but close enough to walk to the shops, dining and the harbor. There was a grocery store across the street. The breakfast was good. Great value. Would stay there again.

Shower…….., wet and slippy tiles, from condensation, while having shower,… went to support myself against tiles, and almost fell.

We had a lot vely stay at the Hillgrove. Its location is perfect a few minutes walk from town centre yet nice n quiet. Room was spotless and staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return again.

Pros: This hotel is within short walking distance to the center of town with plenty of free parking. The neighborhood is very quiet.
Cons: the light in the room and the bathroom is dismal. You can barely see yourself in the mirror. It is extremely difficult to shave, fix hair or apply makeup with this lighting. Not sure what the lighting designers were thinking.
The mattress was hard as a rock and extremely uncomfortable. Generally we like hard mattresses, but this one was like sleeping on stone.

A clean, comfortable hotel within easy walking distance of Dingle Harbour and main street. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are clean. My only complaint would be the temperature in the rooms: the weather is warming up, and the design of the hotel allows for little to no airflow in the rooms (small windows facing onto an alley - on the ground floor we didn't feel safe leaving the larger window open when we slept). It would improve guest experiences immensely if Hillgrove were to purchase fans to circulate the air and cool the rooms. The temperature at night was in the high twenties and it was difficult to sleep.

It was unusually hot there, so we didn't have any expectations-which paid off! They did not have any fans, and one of the ladies there went above and beyond to get us ice in our room. We got a late check out of noon, unfortunately the staff did realize that there were three people in the room and saw two people leave thinking we were gone, they came in the room while I was on the loo and took my purse and travel cup-when I got out, I was a bit surprised to see it missing with the door wide open. It was about 15 till noon. Also, the third bed in the room served as a couch, the mattress was completely shot-thankfully there was a double bed in the room that I shared with my daughter. All in all it was a nice stay, most of the staff is very friendly and accomidating.

Really nice place in walking distance to pubs & restaurants of Dingle. Great breakfast with a lot of different options especially for vegetarians. The room had one of the best shower I've ever had at hotel / Guesthouse
Over all the place is very well maintained & feels like it has been renovated recently.
Plenty of free parking on site too.

Steven was wonderful. Suggested tour routes. Made dinner reservations. Made us feel so welcome. Very friendly and charming. Breakfast also very good. Property has old warm charm.

Staff was accommodating and very friendly. Kevin, Steven and all were helpful. Breakfast was very convenient and was on par with other places we stayed. Actually better as it was made for us and didn’t come out of a chafing dish. So it was hot and delicious.
