Stayed in the main building on the second floor. Elevator worked well. Beautiful view.

So glad we found this property. It was convenient to everything, but quiet and secluded. The breakfast had extensive options. The employees were very helpful and friendly.

This hotel is in the most wonderful setting and we could see Mt. Rushmore from our balcony. It offered us a few days to relax and chill. It’s ideally located for sightseeing around the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was tasty.

Beautiful location with mountain setting. Could actually see Mount Rushmore from our room with a balcony . All food was exceptional and service was fast and courteous.

K Bar S Lodge was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for our large family vacation!!! The facility is clean - secluded - picturesque and VERY friendly - NEVER hesitate to book this lodge for your vacation needs - it will NOT disappoint!!

Very close to Mt Rushmore. They have nice fire pit and outdoor area.

My friend used the restroom and the chain snapped we were not able to use the bathroom the entire night, it was torrential downpour outside so we were stuck

I don’t typically write reviews but we really enjoyed our stay here. The property was very clean and the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was more than your typical continental hotel breakfast, nice to have on site before heading out for a busy day. The property is off in the hills/wooded area and while feeling secluded, it is only a 10 minute walk/drive into Keystone/surrounding area. The balcony was nice and included comfortable chairs/table. We could also see the profile of Mount Rushmore in the distance! We will stay here again if in the area and highly recommend to others.

Outstanding views, friendly staff! Maybe a few more vegetarian options at the Pub. Balcony was great and we loved the fire pit!

I appreciated the kindness of the staff and taking the time to let us sit by the campfire on our last night a little past the normal closing time. Allowing me to use the hot tub a while longer before it was closed up another night in addition to walking back to the main building to refill the spa towels for use. He didnt have to do that but its the small things like that that show the staff take care of the guests. We even stayed an extra night unexpectedly albeit in a different room but not gonna complain as the view from the new room facing Mount Rushmore is beautiful! My daughter loved the breakfast most of all, variety to her little hearts content. We built memories here and I would definitely come back again.

Everything about the resort was absolutely amazing!! Wish we could have stayed longer!!

It is retreat quality surrounded by natures tranquility, and if in the right place one can see Mt. Rushmore from the side. With binoculars you can see three of the four presidents on a clear day.

Its not my first stay in this hotel and its nice, and quiet, clean and convenient

I liked that the property was located close to Keystone downtown and to Mt. Rushmore. We arrived in town in time to eat and go to the evening show at Mt. Rushmore. That left us time to explore Custer State Park the next day. There was a restaurant at the hotel. We almost did not get our evening meal because the whole town lost power for almost an hour. All businesses were getting ready to shut down, but fortunately the power was restored before that happened.
