The staff were friendly and the hotel was beautiful. We felt the room itself lacked warmth and just felt like any other hotel room. For the money and the area and coming from and to other 5 star properties within this region, the fee amnesties and room itself were lacking.

My stay at Scalinatella hotel in Capri was a fantastic experience, thanks to the exceptional service and the incredibly helpful staff. Dominic and Giovanni went out of their way to provide personalized recommendations that really enhanced our visit. The rooms were comfortable with stunning views, and the breakfast was a highlight—delicious and abundant. It's a perfect spot for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay on the island.

We were obsessed with the Hotel La Scalinatella and the amazing staff there! Our room, a sea-view suite, was beautifully appointed, large and had an absolutely stunning view. Anything and everything we needed was handled to perfection from reservations to booking a boat for the day, and everyone who works at the hotel could not be more warm and kind! We cannot wait to return!

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel, the staff and the owner, The Hotel is very close to everything, the rooms are nice, pools are nice, lovely views and the customer service was impeccable. I recently stayed in 5 star hotels, in Florence, Venice and Rome and this hotel was my favorite Hotel. IF you are going to Capri and debating on staying some place cheaper or the same cost, stay here you will not regret it! They helped with everything we needed to include a last minute COVID test within 15 minutes. Love Hotel La Scalinatella. Also, met the owner, what are very nice gentlemen.

The views from this property are stunning. The staff is very welcoming and provides exceptional service. We walked off the ferry and Mario was there as promised to take care of luggage while we took the funicular up to Capri town and leisurely strolled to this quiet paradise. A bottle of Prosecco with delicious strawberries was a warm welcome and the type of service we enjoyed throughout our stay.

A beautiful hotel situated on the cliffs of Capri. We had an amazing room with a huge balcony overlooking the water. Even though it rained one day it was enjoyable just looking at the view. Service was extremely attentive and the breakfast was great. It made the trip even more memorable.

Hotel la scalinatella is in a perfect spot in Capri. You are right off all the main stores and restaurants of central Capri. It makes it the perfect location to enjoy the downtown but have a relaxing quiet vibe. The hotel itself is older but stunning. Very similar to other buildings in the area. The grounds are very well up-kept and the pool area is amazing. Very serene setting where you can lounge and view the sea mountains and town of Capri. My one complaint is the front desk staff. They were extremely rude to us during all of our encounters. It took about 20 minutes to check out because three of the receptionists were flustered with checking people in and out. They would stop our check out process and do another activity. They also called our room to make sure we were checking out because the next guest already arrived. It made us feel extremely rushed out of the hotel. The staff at the pool and maids were the complete opposite and very pleasant.

From the staff, to the cleanliness to the service was excellent. Unfortunately our last night there, a large American family who has rented the entire floor above us checked it. They made our stay miserable.... dragging furniture around and walking (stumping) around till way passed midnight and smoking and drinking in the balconies right above our room. Due to the tiered nature of the hotel rooms, there is little to no privacy, add a trashy family on top of that and your stay is ruined.
