We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel Malher. Staff was very helpful in finding excellent restaurants and arranging for transportaion to the airport. Staff was also very pleasant. The room was very clean and nicely up-dated. The only issue was that we requested a top floor with a view and, as we have found in many other hotels in Europe, the room had sloping walls to accommodate the the roof line. The person sleeping in one side of the bed had to duck your head while getting out of bed.

This hotels completely ripped me off, and Hotels.com offered me no protection, so my review is based on the fact I paid a ridiculously inflated rate, with no warning from Hotels.com, offering a make-believe discount to secure a non-refundable booking.
I will never be giving either business a penny in future, and it will be a miracle if this review makes it on site given the shockingly poor service received.

Location to Gare de Lyon was perfect. 2 stops and 5 min walk. Price was right. Facility is actually very good. A great deal for an overnight stay then I extended for one more night coz the value was indisputably better than I could’ve imagined. Highly recommend this place for a short stay in Paris. This hotel in Le Marais is a very nice place. They have elevator. I got the solo traveler room and it was just perfect. The shower could be a little slippery without floor mats so be careful. Individual toiletries provided. Towels were nice. No face cloths though so bring your own. I needed toothpaste and Emmanuel got me one with a toothbrush. He was very helpful and also assisted extend my stay. I know I’ll be back here while passing through Paris and needing a nice and affordable place. Hilton charging $500-1000 per night during Olympics is a rip off. I paid here a very fair price. Trip booked on Expedia but can also book direct with hotel.

Our first impressions were very positive. Friendly and efficient staff, clean well equipped room. Hotel in a good area

Great stay and in an awesome location. Room was clean and quiet and looked like it had been recently updated. Staff were friendly and helpful.
4.3
A charming boutique hotel in an excellent location, good and pleasant service.
I will definitely come back again.
4.3
I had a wonderful week staying at this lovely small hotel located on a quiet street in the Marais. The staff were kind and always helpful. I was actually a bit sad leaving this sweet place in the Marais.
4.3
Perfect spot in the Marais. Right near metro. Friendly staff and nice rooms. A little street noise at night, but not enough to keep me up.
4.3
Comfortable bed, and small bathroom, however great location in the Marais. But service at breakfast was way below from what you would expect. Basically all tables were full of dirty dishes, and the young man at the breakfast service didn’t seem to think it was his job to clean it. He cleared some tables, but didn’t care to wipe of the tables. After refilling breakfast food there were no utensils to use to take the food/ham with, guess they were left in the kitchen. Needless to say, I would prefer to have breakfast at a café instead next time. Because of course I will stay again, you don’t say no to that location…

The staff here are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The property is beautifully renovated and kept in excellent condition; the lobby has a self-service espresso coffee machine, and they even offer umbrellas (which were needed and welcome).
The room is small but very clean, and they graciously accommodated our late-day request for additional service. Bed is comfortable and has plenty of pillows.
The St Paul metro stop is nearby and very convenient to get to the major tourist sites and airports. Lovely, clean and walkable neighborhood, alive with shops and restaurants, but not rowdy with clubs or noise.
We will definitely stay here again when we return to Paris.

I am grateful with gratitude to have found and walked into this most wonderful hotel… not only the comfort with the bedding, warm and the peace, this winning hearted hotel are the every single people from the front are most wonderful people, absolutely Earth Angels with great kindness and high frequency mindset. You ask a simple question… even they don’t have the answer, they will ask others for the answers for you. A blessing hotel with fantastic in people management as they demonstrate themselves with trust and love. Thank you Juicy, Tsetan and Eden to make Paris a better place to be.
4.3
Everything is so fantastic, love the people vibes especially the super friendly and warm Juicy, Tsetan, Eden and Emanuel and the beautiful shower facility and my warm soft bed feel like home … except the limited space that I can’t open both my luggages in my room.

fantastic stay , friendly staff

Pros: Clean rooms in a safe and beautiful neighbourhood. Bathrooms very good with hot water. Nearby huge shopping district, plenty of cafés and restaurants, walkable to St Paul metro, good bus connectivity until late at night, close to St Chapelle and many other tourist attractions.
Cons: No safe available inside the rooms, and they don’t provide water bottles daily.
4.3
Cute quaint hotel..friendly staff and great location. Nice neighborhood with great eateries nearby.
4.3
Staff was friendly and professional; room was very comfortable, and well-attended; neighborhood was delightful.
4.3
A very quiet hotel in Le Marais with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms have been recently renovated and location is great with just a few minutes walk to Saint-Paul station.

It's Paris...
Buildings are old.
Very nice boutique type hotel.
No bar, or restaurant on site, so no room service.
Great area though, so no shortage of food, drink, shopping choices literally right outside front door.
4.3
I booked this hotel through hotels.com but I didn’t mean to book it so right after I did I tried contacting them to tell them it was a mistake and asking for a refund but they would not give in so I had to pay for that hotel also even though I did not stay there
4.3
This hotel is in a great location. It's clean and out top floor room was spacious. Id stay here again.
4.3
This was a very cozy place to stay for a few days. Friendly staff and located in a great part of the city (Le Marais). Super easy access to local transportation. The nearest Métro station is just a block away and can get you into the heart of Paris. Great restaurants and cafes on every corner of the hotel. Highly recommend.

Great location!
Wonderful team
Highly recommended
4.3
Conveniently located steps from Metro and many shops and cafes. Small room, excellent bed and new bathroom.
4.3
We liked the windows and the balcony that our room opened onto very much. One of the attendants at the desk was not as helpful as we expected but most of the staff was very pleasant and helpful
4.3
Friendly and helpful staff, decor and cleanliness very good
4.3
Excellent location, staff friendly and helpful. The only thing is some rooms are little. I stayed in two different rooms, the first one was little but well equipped. The second one is larger. They does not have blower to comb your hair properly, so I was disheveled all the time since I have curly hair. Other than that was a perfect trip.
4.3
The staff was incredibly helpful. The hotel was very clean, quiet, had great coffee and crossaints in the lobby, and was close to EVERYTHING we needed or wanted in Paris! :) Metro stop was so close...
4.3
The team was extremely helpful and the location was excellent.
4.3
I have always liked this hotel, particularly the breakfast room downstairs. Recent renovations to the property have been a plus.
4.3
clean but very noisy. walls are very thin.
4.3
As always a very good and convenience option when in Paris for PV.

The staff was so nice upon arrival.
The room is small but cute. The BATHROOM was modern, clean and looked brand new. I was so impressed with their bathroom, despite its size- perfect for just the two of us. I’ve been to Paris many times and this is the first hotel I’ve found that doesn’t have a must moldy smell in the bathroom after use which is a HUGE deal for me.
The room itself isn’t as modern or clean as the bathroom but I loved our balcony. There is no safe unfortunately but I still felt safe. I do put protections on my lock and have a censor so I know they didn’t come into my room while I wasn’t there.
The front desk staff and the manager were so sweet, kind and helpful and I appreciate them so much!!! Thanks for making our stay so wonderful!
4.3
Room was small and felt it was a little overpriced. Breakfast was great (hardboiled eggs, ham/turkey slices, variety of cheeses, coffee (regular or nexpresso), bread, cereal, jams. Room had a small fridge but did not cool that much. coffee maker. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. The St Paul metro station is less than a block. Similarly, there are 2 mini-markets that sale dinner and so is a boulangerie to buy sandwiches and sweets. A little over a couple of streets away from the Seine.
4.3
We found the hotel well located and the staff very helpful.

Beautifully hotel renovated with really good taste in color and design. Great location in the Marais near Village de St. Paul. Nice staff and good breakfast.
4.3
We got a very warm and pleasant welcome.
The room was ready on time, clean and very well maintained.
The location is just amazing, in the heart of the most beautiful quarter in Paris, very close to a Metro station, Rivoli shopping street, great restaurants, bars and more.
We highly recommend it and will surely come back!!!
