We enjoyed 4 days in the German Alps, one of the top experiences to enjoy in Europe. Hotel is close to the biggest attractions in the area, plenty of good restaurants nearby. It is well run by hardworking, lovely people. Situated next to the road you hear traffic passing.

Good hotel in Pfronten. Easy parking, unfortunately no restaurant or lounge with service, but a room with a fridge and drinks to purchase. Breakfast is good with a good variety of foods. Rooms are clean and nice.

We were lucky Fussen had no vacancies so we ventured out to Pfrontener Hof and were happy we did. The next-door ski lift up the mountain made for a great day of hiking and views. Dinner options in Pfrontener were also good and easy to get a table. If you are looking for a quiet place with great views away from crowds, I'd suggest you try here.

Stop over for the night before heading on to Neuschwanstein. A beautiful area that we will return to to hike more.

The owners really care and know their business. Make sure you eat at their restaurant. The food and views were fantastic! The breakfast was the best we have had in Europe! Fresh pretzels!! The staff saved us loads of time and money by recommending the best way to see the castles and nearby activities. Ask them questions and learn from the pros! Thank you for a wonderful welcome to Germany!!! We hope to come again soon!

The staff were friendly, helpful and informative and the room and bed were comfortable. There was a good breakfast choice and there was free parking and a good internet connection. We particularly liked the bus service from right outside the front door which took us into Fussen without having to fuss with parking (pun intended). Plenty to see and do in the area.

My personal favorite hotel in our trip. The surroundings were amazing. You can do a nice hike with trails that are just outside the hotel. The gentleman managing the restaurant is very friendly. We would come back.

Pfrontener Hof is right next to a chairlift. Our room had a balcony looking out at the mountainside. The hotel shows its age, but the price seemed reasonable. The owner is on-site and very friendly. Dinner was good and nicely presented. No lift so luggage must be carried up the stairs. Owner is knowledgeable about the area and was able to suggest a sightseeing tour, which we enjoyed. We were given a transport card each that we could have used for free bus travel or train travel (train staton is right across the street from the hotel).

This place is terrific! Super friendly and welcoming hosts, also very informative about what to do, where to go, shop etc. The room was exactly as I expected, rustic with a great view of the Alps to enjoy from your own balcony. Right next door to a ski hill. About 15 mins away from the castles in Schwaganau. Breakfast was included and excellent, lovely selection of meats, cheeses, eggs, fresh baked hot buns, yogurts, fruit, cereals etc. And the best part for me; pots of fresh brewed hot coffee brought right to the table. I hope to return one day in the near future!

This was the last hotel we booked during an 18 day trip around Europe. We were looking for a base for walking, running, exploring in the Bavarian alps and this turned out to be what we were looking for. It's a little basic if you compare it to a posh chain hotel but the rooms were clean, views from the rooms were amazing, staff (especially "Tom" one of the owners) friendly and the wifi was very fast.

Great traditional inn off the beaten path. Staff was friendly without being intrusive. My only complaint was the flies in the dining areas. The Inn is located beside a farm. For the sanity of their diners the staff need to keep windows and doors Closed.! The rooms are modern and clean. A wonderful place to stay sans flies!

Comfortable old guest house on the main road in Pfronten, which is a quiet village so road noise is negligible.
Great view out the back of the mountain and the ski lift up to it hich is right next door.
Good sized room.
Clean bathroom with good shower.
Food in Restaurant is good.
Strange thing was that our room was on the 2nd floor and it smelt of cooking from the kitchen on the ground floor, yet the restaurant on the ground floor didnt!
Maybe the vent from the kitchen was up near our room.
