Our suite was amazing. Really historic and beautifully furnished.

Superb breakfast. We had an apartment but it was too hot as air con not great. Avoid room 10a. Great otherwise.

Went for a wedding and the food, service, drinks, etc were all fantastic. Room was a good size and clean etc

disappointing is the single word to sum up our stay. The brasserie and public spaces are excellent, but the rooms whilst having had a make over are quite poor. The beds haven't been changed and are rock hard with lumpy pillows. The wardrobe/hanging space was ridiculous, with the fridge etc taking up the bottom section there wasn't enough room to hang a jacket without it dragging on the shelf below. Ladies, forget hanging anything up. Also, if you plan on using the gym whilst there DON'T!! It's filthy and poorly equiped, it should even be mentioned as really it doesn't exisit in a useable state. Given the cost of rooms here, I expected much, much better and will not be back despite being offered a free B&B stay for a night to make up for the poor experience.

It was our first visit to the Cotswolds and we were very impressed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was great. Bed very comfortable. The only request that we have is to install USB outlets in the rooms. Overall excellent experience! Plan to return!❤️

Very comfortable apartment with all the facilities you could want. Wonderful staff and a great location right in the heart of the town. Separate entrance to the apartments was a useful feature.

We fully understood at the time of booking that hotel policy is that 3pm is check in time, but prior to arrival we requested that the hotel consider an alternative as we were due to arrive at 2pm after a 3 hour journey and needed to change in readiness for a wedding SME 12 miles away starting at 3pm. The only option the hotel receptionist offered was the use of spa facilities, where my wife had to change into her wedding outfit in a small changing room with 4 other hotel guests using the same changing facilities for use of the spa. Frankly, not good enough for town centre hotel charging £225 per room per night.

Our room (deluxe) was very pleasant and comfortable, however the windows were small and facing onto a courtyard/wall, so the room was very dark. We had to the lights on, even during the day. Would chose another room, facing the square or higher up, if we were to come back.

When we arrived my husband and I were shocked as there was no parking at the hotel. We had to pay to unload and then had a five minute walk from the hotel to the car park. It is totally unsatisfactory that elderly people have to carry their luggage to and from a car such a distance from the hotel. There were no porters and no help within the hotel for the few steps we had to negotiate on the way to the room. The room smelt as if someone had been smoking in it and it was very cold and the heating did not work. there was nowhere to put anything in the bathroom, not even a hook. the bath was slippery and there was nothing to hold onto to get in and out of the bath. The apartment room was spacious, but there was minimal furniture so it looked larger than it was. The kitchen facilities were adequate. We had breakfast once in the hotel. It was very expensive for what it offered. We had coffee in the bar on the first night. It was very good coffee. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant.

Restaurant staff very good.

Located in the middle of town. Lots of shops from daily items to high end retailers. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Cirencester. Loved every moment of our stay. The room was wonderful, the bathroom huge and modern and the tea/coffee facilities were great. Loads of options to choose for breakfast. Would love to stay here again.

A great find deep in the Cotswold! We enjoyed walking the town and eating WELL! A great inn in a great town.

Overnight stay to visit local area. Convenient town centre location. Comfortable room with two chairs! I never understand why hotel rooms have just one chair for two guest so well done! Great breakfast in the attached restaurant. Not so good was very cold bathroom, poor bar service items on drinks menu not available, public areas not so clean as room.

Room was expensive and lacking in personality. Everything was grey and featureless. Nevertheless, the room was spacious and well equipped with coffee and tea making facilities, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tv and safe. Bathroom was spacious with large shower, but no toilet roll holder . Very good breakfast

A pleasant enough hotel in great location but our bedroom and the public areas were uncomfortably cold; we needed to wear outdoor jackets in both. Generally quite a lack lustre experience, the environment and service did not reflect the room price. Overpriced and underwhelming.

Great stay at the Kings Head we will definitely be back in the future

Lovely hotel with apartments in right in the centre of town, nice mixture of old heritage building with modern rooms Only down side, breakfast was not included and is extremely over-priced for what's on offer and the service considering it was very quiet was poor (too slow and items forgotten twice and having to be reminded)

Spent a night for our anniversary was greeted with congratulations from the staff, along with a beautiful room. Hotel staff are friendly and informative. Couple of bad points stain on the side of the bed maybe a valance maybe in order? Breakfast wasn’t the best… Lovely sweets / drinks in room but all have a cost albeit all local produce… room was cold in the room but turned it up to 26 and within an hour or two it was toasty and turned back to 22 and comfortable. Definitely would stop again maybe try the dinner this time and savour more nice drinks…
