Nice old pub right on Padstow Harbour so close to everything. Has bar and eatery, and staff are very helpful. The only downside - it’s a bit of a mission getting your luggage to the upper floors as there are lots of stairs and doors to negotiate.

Our room was really nice and the staff were great. The hotel itself could do with a lick paint and the stair carpet needs replacing.But that did not stop us having a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay again

Great location

Lovely little room but being in the top was quite warm so needed the windows open. As a result a late wake-up from drunks in the street outside (it was the nght of England v Netherlands in the Euros Semi Final) and an early wake up from the local sea gulls :-). Comfy bed. A mini fridge would be nice to keep cold drinks in. The can of laocal lager was a nice touch. Ate dinner in the restaurant and the service was not great. Slow and got the order timing wrong by bringing out the starter and main at the same time????. There were only two other tables being occupied so it wasn't like it was busy. These are minor things and are mentioned only for feedback purposes. I would stay here again as it's a great location and a nice boutique hotel. A lot od stairs to Room 14 :-) but worth it for the view ;-)!

Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room needed to be refurbished. The bed and linen were lovely as were the towels.

We had a lovely stay especially the room (no.10) we were given overlooking the harbour. The food was good value especially the fish and chips. The service was excellent from when we arrived and especially sending on free of charge the iPad we left in the room. Highly recommend for it location, service and value

Such a relaxing stay, the old custom house was beautiful the room and the view from our room made it very pleasant ,watching people enjoying themselves, breakfast was laid out lovely, a little disappointed on the choices of evening menu, booked a meal as it was our Anniversary, they had run out of all the roast during the day! We ended up having to get chips and taking it back to our room as all the other restaurants were fully booked. But having said that we enjoyed eating our chips with the best seats in the house from the view from our window!

Very good position in Padstow. Was quiet whilst we were there but I could imagine at busier times of the year the position could be quite noisy.

Staff very helpful and friendly

£155 for an average stay at best but in a great location in the middle of Padstow. No one at check in when we arrived. Long walk to room which was above the noisy pub next door. The seagulls were pretty noisy too! Coffee machine not working at breakfast. Not overly bothered though as only stayed the one night.

I had a wonderful stay here. The staff were friendly and welcoming- the breakfast selection varied and delicious. Sunday lunch fantastic and great quality. I loved my room, the bed was so comfortable and views great

The breakfast included was very very nice! Rooms were nice and clean and the staff were super friendly. Bonus as the 24hour car park is less than a minute walk aswell.

Loved the room. V comfortable and great views with such easy access to town. Will definitely be back. Ellie on reception was so accommodating and so we’re all the staff.

This was a weekend away for our anniversary. The Old Custom House was fantastic and the room we had, had a lovely view over the harbour. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the bar was superb. Will definitely be returning again in the future.

Lovely room with phenomenal view. Opened our windows and sat in front having a cup of tea watching the world go by. Breakfast was faultless and huge choice. Our first stay here and would definitely book here again.

The hotel was amazing, situated in a lovely coastal town, great staff, friendly and helpful. Food was also amazing perfect and great choices. Great town to walk and look around.

An overnight stay on a break in Padstow. Great location, good value for money and very helpful staff, especially John who checked us in and sorted a booking glitch. Good size room, comfortable bed and Elemis toiletries. Room and bathroom a little tired but clean. Opted for inclusive breakfast rate and choice was very good as was the food. Very happy to recommend.

The convenience of being in the heart of Padstow, on the flat and near to the venue where we were dining. There was nothing to dislike about our stay. When the receptionist heard we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary they produced two bottles of bubbly for us to celebrate. Very thoughtful and much appreciated.

A really enjoyable stay: great location; wonderful view from the room and helpful staff. However parking is a major challenge (it might be helpful for the property to explore reserving spaces in the public car park opposite) and the decor in the room was a little tired.
