Flew in from a long trip and needed a place to spend the night before driving home. It used to be a BW and is now Wyndham. Located right next to freeway and In n Out. Breakfast was decent many choices and best part was the cappuccino/expresso machine.

I booked on hotels.com and when I got there I was told by the receptionist that we didn’t have any reservations and they were sold out. I showed her my confirmation number and she said, I don’t know what to you, but I don’t have any rooms. And that was it.

The check in was great, receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Only issue I will complain of is the smell of smoking in the room and restroom. It’s a no smoking room and the smell is overwhelming.

The parking lot is crawling with homeless and bums. It is not a safe area at all. There were things wrong with the room that they ended up blaming us for some of them were very kind staff others should learn what it means to work in customer service.

Booked Best Western Plus Desert Poppy Inn though Expedia. I received a confirmation email from Expedia and I was also charged for the hotel stay on my credit card. When I arrived at the property to check in, I was told they were fully booked and was unable to locate my reservation. I was denied a stay for the night I had been charged for. I have been trying to contact Expedia for a refund but the only option that I have been given is to communicate through a useless virtual agent chat. Horrible experience to say the least and on top of that feeling terrible I can’t even speak to a live agent. I would not recommend booking through a third party such as Expedia and I would never recommend staying at this hotel.

This is our go to hotel when we come here and have stayed here quite a bit. Staff is always nice and helpful and easy check in. Rooms are always clean and nice. Maid service is always amazing as well. Very kind and always talk to my toddler which she loves. Excellent stay every time

I had enjoyed myself for the most part, but the guy I was talking to you at the counter was very rude, Almost impossible to check into my room and it took me about 30 minutes to get everything together. Overall, the other workers and other clerks that I’ve talked to were very respectful and very helpful. My room was very comfortable. I had no issues whatsoever.

Really enjoyed my stay here! It was just what I needed, I am a PCT hiker and I needed some that was comfortable, clean and good location. This place satisfied all my needs, plus there is an In-N-Out Burger across the street.

I've stayed in countless budget-friendly hotels for work, but this one truly stands out. It was impeccably clean and exceptionally well-maintained. The staff made me feel welcome every time I passed by, and I even struck up a friendship with the maid on my floor. Plus, they have the GOOD shampoo and body wash that smells like honey. Not the usual cheap, chalk-like products. The breakfast I would classify as an upscale continental spread. Despite its proximity to the freeway, the nights were surprisingly peaceful. Without a doubt, I'd choose to stay here again.

We stayed for one night, despite having to sign something to say we wouldn’t smoke in the room obviously someone had before as the room smelt awful. Also smelt as though smoke was coming through the air con system. Asked for a bottle opener at reception and apparently there wasn’t one at the property!
