We loved our stay at Blue Bay! Room was spacious and impeccably clean. The views were fantastic and we enjoyed the complimentary water chairs and paddle boats. The private beach and the water was a highlight. Just a lovely stay! We hope to come back some day!

Absolutely heavenly

Our room was large and clean. The parking was perfect and the view was beautiful. We really loved the beach and it had kayaks and floating chairs which was really nice. We also loved that they will bring your bags to and from your room since there are a lot of stairs. Some things that could be improved: 1. We wished that they had a shuttle into town. A 25 minute walk is beautiful but very hot in the summer: 2. The water from the taps is so hot that I burned my hands washing them. 3. They charge 5 euro for a beach towel and another 5 euro to exchange it for a clean one. We spent over 20 euro just on towels. 4. They didn’t have a restaurant for lunch or dinner or much of a bar (just beer or Aprerol) at the beach. If you wanted a drink you had to walk up many stairs to go to the bar area. Overall we loved the stay here. If I had limited mobility this would not be the right place for you to stay. Our room and the terrace we had were amazing. I would stay again.

Gorgeous view!

Blue Bay was perfect for our time in Cefalù. We knew leading up to it that it wasn’t in the heart of the town but figured we would be able to get by. There is a walkable path and it only takes about 20-25 minutes depending on pace. The beach and service were both great and helped us relax after the long flight to Palermo.

Private beach 🏖️ is a must. This hotel has a beach only for guests. Friendly helpful staff and walking distance to Chefalu

So much to do on the beach. Toys and food/drinks were excellent. Breakfast was excellent

This is a lovely hotel in a great private spot wth a pebble beach. Take beach shoes with you if plan on going into the sea. The views are stunning. Our bedroom had a sauna and steam room and I used the sauna a couple of times. It also had two bathrooms and a huge living room space, fridge and air con so it was really well equipped. We were on level 1 so had to walked down a lot of steps to get to the beach. It's fine if you are fit however if you have any mobility issues this hotel may not be suitable. The hotel was spotless and someone picks up any rubbish from the sea that washed up to the beach each day. There are kayaks and paddleboards and a pedalo free to use. This hotel only serves breakfast (no lunch or dinner) and a lot of it is very swet items. It would be good if they served more savoury items. The dining area is small and one time we arrived for breakfast and had to wait to be seated as there was a large group staying, so be aware of this if you need to eat quickly. We ate kunch and dinner a couple of times at the hotel next door and the food was excellent although service can be a little slow due to them being so busy. It's about a 15-20 mins walk into town and there are a couple of lovely restaurants en-route if you don't want to go right into town. Cefalu is really lovely. The staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful.

Great location with a private beach outside of town. Very quiet and private for a relaxing stay and great sleep! Very friendly and helpful staff. Just a short drive to town which was convenient but nice to escape the hustle and bustle of town!

All 5 star experience

Our stay for 5 nights was unbelievable. Everyone at the hotel was extremely nice and helpful. We felt that being there was not just an accommodation but an experience. Being at the family owned hotel, we thought everyone was genuine and warm and we could not have had a better 6 days.

We had a great time at the Blue Bay hotel. The area is beautiful, the beach is excellent. The rooms are large and private. Walking to Cefalu is very manageable (20 minutes). All staff are friendly/courteous. The price is very reasonable considering private beach access minutes from Cefalu.

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Bay with its private rocky beach and plenty sun loungers plus free access to aqua equipment to play with! Staff were friendly & helpful. Nice spread of local foods for breakfast. A short drive into Cefalù city! We had an apartment for 4 which was very spacious and well designed, complete with a kitchenette.

Great get-away place.

Private beach, huge rooms, spotlessly clean, and an amazing view from every room. Decent free breakfast. And an easy walk to Cefalu!

This was a beautiful place right on the water. Unfortunately it rained during our vacation here but that’s Mother Nature. You can hear the water at night which is very tranquil. The only thing we didn’t like was the walking up and down stairs to our room. This place is on a cliff and access can be tough if you have bad knees. Other than that very nice. Private beach area

At first I was dissapointed, because our room had a shared balcony which wasn’t described at hotels.com. But it turned out to be not importent for the quality of the stay at all! The wiews from the hotel is ever as beautiful as the pictures you see, it is quite magical! At the small private beach there are sunbeds at your disposal, a kayak, a SUP-board, a watercykle and small ‘floating-chairs’ all free of charge, and very fun for both kids and adults! You can walk to the wonderful town of Cefalú, it is a 2 km nice walk, but you do go up and downhill, but the trip offers really beautiful wiews as well! The small breakfast-restaurant at the hotel offers a range of pastery, some fruit, yoghurt, juice evt. Not the largest selection, but what was there, was nice. I was very impressed with the people working at the hotel. They where constantly sweeping the stairs, cutting the plants, grooming the beach (yes, they where grooming the beach, I don’t have a better word for it :-), so constantly working to make the hotel appear it’s best. While still managing the small reception and bar and tending to the gate, not letting strangers in. My family had a very nice stay at Blue Bay, and I would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful location overlooking sea

The place was clean and the workers were friendly. I believe this would be a wonderful hotel for a family in the summer. Definitely not a luxury hotel but clean.

a fabulous luxury hotel on a spectacular stretch of Sicilian coast. superb service, delicious breakfast, amazing property, the visit of a lifetime for my wife and i who live in coastal california. If someone had told me you would neverea e Blue Bay, i would gladly agreed!

The walking path into the historic part of Cefalú is fun. The views are nice, our balcony was huge. Depends on what you want for a beach- this one is not a sandy beach. It’s small- better if you want a place for playing on a kayak or other floaty thing in the sea. Cool steps around the rocky formations.

Great views. Friendly staff. Clean modern rooms. Great location slightly away from the heavy tourist areas.

Host attentive. Good breakfast. Hot water tricky in room. First day no hot water then limited. To get to room involved lots of stairs so would not be appropriate for people who are not mobile. Shower dirty lots of mold.
