Excellent breakfast! Great happy hours service!

The Hermanus Boutique was a wonderful find and a great place to spend our final few days in South Africa. The decor and design are very unique but very clean comfortable and welcoming. We had booked a room close to the pool and spent the first night there, however as preferred a ground floor and sea view room, we were upgraded for our final two nights at no extra cost, which was hugely appreciated. The location is great for the coastal walk as well as being only a few minutes from the local centre for restaurants and shops. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was superb.

Lovely in every way. Spacious room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Big bathroom and shower. Delish breakfast. Across the street from walking trails with rock hyrax and views of the ocean.

My wife and I with our 16 year old son recently had a 4 day stay at the Hermanus Boutique Guest House . We are frequent visitors to Hermanus and we can honestly say this was probably our best stay. The staff were amazing and the family room which consisted of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was really spacious with balconies for each room as well.. The bedding and cleansiness was excellent. The breakfast was superb and we would highly recommend this guest house. Thanks to Annakie and Josh and all the other staff for the great service and we will definitely be back. They really go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one.

The interior of this hotel is lovely. The rooms are comfortable and clean. But, there is a big difference in the room sizes. Our friends and I booked the same room for the same price at the same time but theirs was much larger and included a sitting area. There are a large and tasty hot breakfast included with the room. The hotel overlooks the ocean across the street and there is a nice path to walk along the water. The rooms, however, did not have a view.

Beautiful with an amazing service. Lots of fresh fruits for breakfast and a huge selection of cheese and warm and cold breakfast. The main room is stunning. I would recommend this boutique hotel to everyone.

Nice room by the pool. Enjoyed the outdoor shower. Within walking distance of everything and good restaurants too. Not much is ocean view.

Brilliant

We were there for 2 nights and were very pleased with this hotel. The location is excellent : away from the main traffic and yet within easy walking distance from restaurants and whales viewing points. All staff members are welcoming and friendly. Our room was spacious and well equiped, and just 5 steps away from the pool. The decor is decent and neutral, but not very unique or inspired. Breakfast is very good. Not the cheapest place to stay, but then it is Hermanus. Would definitely recommend it.

All was great about our stay including location, staff, room and breakfast, AND chocolates on pillow at night and an upgrade to an ocean view. Spotted whales from our terrace! In addition to the cliff walk (be sure to go to the left, too) and dinner at Origins and nearby Heritage, we enjoyed a beautiful hike at Fernkloof.

Stayed for two nights - very comfortable room with everything you could need. Unfortunately, on our second morning we woke to find our room had no electricity and no-one in reception was answering the phone.Apart from that, we very much enjoyed our stay here.

This place has a excellent breakfast !! The room was nice and the furnishings were great but I did not like the layout of the room. There is a outside and inside shower stall which I have never seen anywhere but the commode was off in a tiny closet in the main room.There was one chair to sit on and the TV and internet worked without a problem. If you are with a lady friend or want some cozy time this would be a great place--I would not recommend it for families. Note to drivers -you have to pull up in front and ring the bell as the doors are locked and the front entrance is gated. There is limited parking so get there early. You will have to drive into town for a selection of eateries but there is a bar close that has good food.

Great place to stay, 5 minute walk into town. Restaurants and shops within easy reach. Grotto Beach 10 mins drive.

Stayed in the 3 bed self catering chalet at the rear, (only accomn available) which was well equipped but totally unexpected in terms of its decor and size. Everything was fine, but unexpecetd 4 poster beds, 1930s style decoration !

Lovely room with fantastic views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was up to a good standard.
