The staff were friendly and fantastic. Gave me some great info on some close by places to see. Their English was really good as well.

Everything is good and stay comfortable as well. BUT THE LOCATION QUITE FAR FROM THE CENTER IS NOT CONVIENCE WITHOUT CAR

Awesome experience! The front desk staff was exceptional with ensuring we were taken care of our entire 3 week stay.

Perfect! It was the most comfortable hotel/guesthouse that me and my family have been! The room, the location and the price is excellent!

I absolutely loved the Wallaby House. The staff was super friendly and helpful. And being able to do laundry in the room or make a pot of tea was so nice. The only downside was the bed. It was very stiff and not great for those with back issues. I ended up sleeping on the futon most nights. It would have also been nice to have a bigger bed to share (or be able to push the two little beds together).I loved how close it was to the train; just a short ride into the busier city areas. And if you didnt want to go anywhere, there are a ton of yummy places within walking distance. I would definitely stay there again!

I booked Wallaby House somewhat last minute when I needed to extend my 2-wk cherry blossom trip by an extra day and everything else was either fully booked or super expensive. Wallaby House is located farther from Tokyo than I had thought but is not difficult to get to via Tokyo's extensive public transportation / train. It is also more like an Extended Stay since it comes with a kitchenette and in-room laundry. Because I stayed there only 1 night at the end of my 2-wk trip, I was excited to be able to do some laundry before heading home and it worked out great. I would not have wanted to stay there at the beginning of the trip or longer than a few days because of its distance from most of the Tokyo's sights, however. My main disappointment about Wallaby House is that their cancellation policy is less flexible than others -- you have to cancel 6 or 7 days in advance. Also, when I looked at this hotel a few days before my reservation, I saw that their rates for the night I was staying had dropped by $100+ and they still had rooms available. Due to their cancellation policy, I was unable to cancel and rebook the room to get the better price. Overall, a pleasant stay far away from tourists and a nice quiet way to end my 2-wk Japan trip.

First impressions; the exterior of building and reception was very underwhelming. Did not look like a hotel at all, just a regular apartment building. Going into the room, I was pleasantly surprised. Had both the modern and japanese style rooms, and they were both spacious and had a full kitchen (full fridge/freezer/toaster/stove/pots+pans...the works). Bathroom was large and had separate shower and toilet (this is a huge thing because Japan hotels are notoriously cramped). Room also had washer/dryer in suite. Stayed for 3 nights, it felt good coming 'home' after long day of sightseeing. Never had the same feeling of homeliness as other hotels i stayed in

We went to Saitama for a concert and found this accommodation great for sharing and for the basics. They have done a good job in the room we have in terms of it being clean, modern and having everything you need

Great room, location, and price. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They brought us to our room and showed us how everything worked. There was a refrigerator, washing machine and dryer, and kitchenette. Nice bathroom, shower, etc. Nothing felt cramped.

Everything about Wallaby House deserves an excellent rating. Affordable, comfortable, and a perfect accommodation for the Western traveler. The staff is always there to assist. The room has a fully functioning kitchen and washer and dryer. Very modern and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend a visit.

Really nice apartments, very large rooms, very modern facilities in room - washing machine, nespresso etc. 5-10 min walk from Warabi station. There isn't much to see or do in the local area but that was quite nice too, it felt very authentic, and while it may look a little rough around the edges, it felt very safe at all hours of the day. Internet was fast and stable.
Travel time from Shinjuku/Shibuya is about 45 mins, Omiya is about 25 mins. If you need somewhere to stay in this general area then I think you'd struggle to beat Wallaby House. Even if you're spending all your time in central Tokyo it'd be worth considering if you want the extra space, self-catering etc.

Good condition and large room.
Can cook with kitchen/(microwave) oven.
Washing machine is useful during this trip.
Without bathtub is only the minor disaapointment.

Newly renovated rooms in Saitama. The rooms are large as they are essentially Japanese apartments which come with washing machine, fridge, sink, stove, tv, heating/cooling. All the appliances are new. Great if you desire a lot of space. Rooms are all non smoking, which is a great plus for my family. Stayed as a family (3 total persons). Easy hotel to find, Warabi station east exit. The main drawback is the location, it is relatively far from the core (35ish minutes to Tokyo station, 40ish minutes to Shinjuku). They dont clean your rooms everyday either, only once per stay, but was not a problem for me.Would recommend if you are not pressed for time. Good if you want to experience regular suburban Japanese life. There is a relatively large mall nearby (Aeon mall) as well.

The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. They speak English very well and wanted to make sure we were having a good stay in japan. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood yet the downtown sights are just a short train ride away.
