Overall just OK. As darling, as it was, property was quite outdated. Walls in our unit were peeling and dirty. Looked like air conditioning unit was switched to new one, and work around it was never finished. Old paint, unfinished walls and nail holes were visible and very unattractive. Bedroom carpet was pink with stains, very old. I did not take my shoes off as I did not feel safe to walk on the carpet with my bare feet.
Property has a huge potential, but unfortunately it is not kept up, needs a good cleaning and a huge facelift.
Staff was nice and kind.
For such a large property pool is extremely small. On a hot summer day, it gets overcrowded, there is absolutely no room for everyone to enjoy it.
It will be a pass for our family when we visit Door co next time.

We had a two-bedroom condo here and I have to say, it was very clean and comfortable. Even the deck furniture was clean and well-maintained. The indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna were great. It was a quick drive into town for shopping and eating, and close to Ephraim, Egg Harbor, and Fish Creek for other activities we chose. I will definitely stay here again!

Very surprised at the size of the rooms, and how comfortable they were. Gas fireplace and jacuzzi tub were first class amenities that made our entire stay much more pleasant than we expected (especially since it was unexpectedly cold during our trip.) We immediately began scheduling our next trip as soon as we left.

Pools are nice and warm. Property is well maintained. Staff is friendly and easily accessible. Problems are quickly resolved. Rooms are a nice size but need to be updated. Much of the furniture needs to be replaced/deep cleaned.

Starting with some positive, the staff was friendly. The best thing is there is a heated indoor and heated outdoor pool. That was great! However, when checking in it smelled so very badly indoors (especially in our room). Both myself and my child thought it smelled very gross, and I regreted booking. And I can tolerate a lot of less than ideal situations . In general it is very dated and needs up-keep. I can handle outdated style, but cannot handle the terrible smell. Only stayed for 2 nights and would not return. The pools are the only reason I didnt give it fewer stars.

I've stayed here several times over the years, but not for several years. It seems like the property has been spruced up some and was in great shape. Rooms are spacious, comfortable. Good facilities with indoor and outdoor pool, tennis courts, and near the heart of Sister Bay. Like the fact that we had a kitchen too. Front desk staff very friendly. I would happily return. Water pressure is the only small negative - a little lacking, but not a huge issue for me.

We’ve stayed before when the kids were younger and came back 6 years later. Hard to find a place with both an indoor and outdoor pool. The room is set up great for cooking family meals and it’s within walking distance of downtown sister bay. Will be back for sure!

The 2 bed, 2 bath condo was just what we needed. Great location, great swimming pools. Could use an extra dish towel or dish drainer for hand washing a few dishes. The condo was very clean.

Property is very well maintained and updates are great. Location is close to everything without the noise or busy feel of downtown area. Room was clean, comfortable, stocked with essentials, and decorated very cute. Loved the pools, hot tub, and games. Price for 2 bedroom condo was good and I thought it was well worth it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Scandinavian Lodge! It worked really well for our family. We stayed in a two bedroom condo. Everything was clean and room was spacious. The second bedroom doesn’t have an air conditioner in it so it got a little warm at night. The master suite and living room were great!

The positives - The room had everything you need for a vacation. You could pack light and be ok. Good location, close to many attractions. Small indoor pool, kiddie pool, jacuzzi. Small outdoor pool, small park for kids, tennis court. The toilet didn't work properly and they fixed it quickly. This place was built for people who want to get away somewhere small and quiet. Another plus is you can watch your Netflix on their TV (battling the noise of the AC, but still a plus).
The negatives - Almost everything is outdated. There wasn't a ton of space to move around. I told them about the very loud air conditioner that woke me up and they said not to worry about it and all of the air conditioners sounded like that. The air conditioner sounded like a motorcycle was in the room or a small plane. Thank God I had earplugs or I wouldn't have slept. The pullout bed from the couch was extremely uncomfortable. They told me to put one of the kids on it. Whoever sleeps on they're pullout couch will have a backache or a ton of trouble sleeping. They don't clean the rooms daily. You put your trash and towels outside the room. I don't think the value is equal to the price. This hotel needs serious attention. I didn't bother telling them about the very noisy bathroom fan since they didnt help with the air conditioner. I wish I would've stayed somewhere else.

The outdoor pool was great. However, understanding how to open the gate was a nuisance for everyone trying to get through it. Please put a sign explaining how to open. Staff did not great you as you left or entered the hotel. Very standoffish. Couldn't tell us what restaurants delivered food. Should have told us rooms don't lock automatically when you leave the room and must lock it. I didn't know that till I read the sheet the next day. Those are important things that need to be verbalized. Bugs in the bathroom and hot tub controls broke. We did like that it was in walking distance from Downtown Sister Bay.
