This property was very clean and comfortable with friendly service every single day!

Everything was great!

Great place to relax, sit by the pool or around by the fire. The grounds are well maintained.

The bathroom is small. The sink is outside the bathroom. It would just be nice to have larger counter space.

It was a beautiful place , lots of flowers that were well taken care of. The owners were friendly and helpful when our TV wasn’t working correctly.

I can’t think of anything could be better.

Good variety of breakfast items

Breakfast was minimal but commincated appropriately. Was well checked and refilled which was very nice. Better than expected! The rooms were cozy and clean, the outside areas nice. Favorite was the fancy fire pit - absolutely loved it. Was so nice to have the hottub open (it was supposed to open a week after we stayed). There were flowers and the grounds were obvious well taken care of. I really liked the family operating this hotel, all were friendly and personable, and always helpful. The cool fish was really neat too. Fantastic location - we were able to go to peninsula state park, newport state park, whitefish dunes, and see a lot of fish creek, sister bay, sturgeon bay, ellison bay, etc without traveling for an unreasonable time in the car. Overall a great stay, and I could see why many of the other guests seemed to know the staff and said they would come back again in a few months - we would too!

***NOT SOMETHING I DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT THE HOTEL, IT WAS GREAT - JUST A FUTURE SUGGESTION** Not the hotels fault but we got in very late to the area and when we drove by it was dark inside and I searched around my confirmation and found that in some fine print it said to call if we were arriving after business hours/9pm - so we panicked called a couple times at 9:15 or so with no answer and then assumed we screwed up and wouldn't be able to get in (our own fault) - then in the morning we found out we would've been able to get in but we had no way of knowing that from the confirmation or website at all. It would be really helpful if the hotel sent a message / put at the top of the confirmation the business hours/check in and state that if we didn't the way to get in is 'xyz' or something like that. Again completely not on the hotel, on us, and did not make us love this place any less - just a suggestion for unprepared travelers from a little further away.

The decor, aminenities, and location to other must sees. Plus all of the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and it's events.

I couldn't say that I disliked anything. It was pleasant.

The price for what it offers. No indoor pool/hot tub. A very basic, clean room.

All facilities were sparking clean and new. The landscaping and property were pristine. It is just a little way away from downtown, driving. The staff was very kind. We had comfortable beds and quiet nights.

The owner and manager were friendly and gave great tips.

Our expectations: bathroom sink would be in room with bathub & toilet. We like a night light and wouldnuse bathroom light except fan worked with the light; fan was very loud & difficult to sleep with it on. A member of the staff called to say they found my tablet & was going to mail it to me. I haven't received it; it's been almost 2 weeks since they called. More fruit options for breakfast. Bed was uncomfortable.
