Acceptable clean accommodations. Long stairs up to room and stairs up to bedroom and bathroom. Had microwave, refrigerator and dishes. If you are prepared to go with the flow, this could work for you.

An amazing bi-loft, clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. It’s conveniently located in the downtown area. You can walk anywhere. If you come by car, there is underground parking provided by the hotel. Comfortable beds and a lot of room. The layout of the loft is unique and there is everything you need. Having a restaurant and a bar downstairs is a huge bonus. The food is delicious and prices are excellent and much more affordable than in some other restaurants. Will definitely stay again.

Loved the loft-style room and the downtown location, walking distance to all of the theatres is a huge plus! Thre is no elevator so rooms are not Accessible.

This property has been beautifully renovated. The only thing lacking was a place to hang up clothes (perhaps a wall-mounted rack with a few hangers would suffice). Our room backed on to the parking lot and was extremely noisy at night once the bar downstairs closed. Many people stood around smoking and talking very loudly both nights we were there.

Brentley's is in a great location. Biggest problem: Our room was one of 5 that have a skylight instead of a window. There is no shade for the skylight. So in mid-June, the bright sun streaming in at 5:00 AM made it impossible to sleep. When I asked staff about that, they said they considered putting in a retractable shade, but decided not to because "kids might throw things on top of it." If you stay at Bentley's in the summer, be prepared to wake up VERY early!

Got told in the morning that we had to pay for the night before and today cause we got checked in after 12 pm yesterday

A great location in the heart of the city, walkable to theaters and shops. Modern room decor, nice quality furnishings and friendly staff. One big caveat: If you have difficulty with stairs, this is unfortunately not the place for you, because you need to use stairs to get to any room from the front or back doors of the building, AND you need to climb stairs to reach the bathroom inside your loft suite, even if you're sleeping in the downstairs bed. (At least that was the case for our room.) The public parking lot at the back of the building has several Chargepoint electric vehicle charging spots, though you need to pay for parking to use them (except on Sunday). The parking that's included with the room is across Ontario St. underground, and you are given a garage door clicker to get in and out (bring your room key to get into the pedestrian door from the street). If you are prone to "waking up with the sun", be aware that there are no room-darkening blinds to close on the large translucent window panels.

Far exceeded expectations! Busy, efficient staff managed to take time for kindness, chat whilst meeting needs of record crowd residents + pub. Best hospitality in my world, ever.

We stayed in room #104. King bed on main floor comfortable but if sleeping in king bed you must go up a flight of stairs to use the bathroom. Bathroom cleanliness needs to be improved. Base of toilet very dirty and the shower had mouldy dirty caulking. Hair dryer did not work and this room has no windows.

Very comfortable room and convenient dining for a late check in.

Bentley’s is so central to everything, it was great to be able to order from the restaurant and eat in the room.

An excellent location in downtown Stratford. The Avon Theatre is a 3 min. walk and the Festival Theatre is about a 20 min. walk or 5 min. drive. The room was in excellent condition. Very clean and the bed was oh so comfortable. Would have taken it home had it fit in our SUV! The room is on two floors with the bathroom on the upper floor. If you don't mind climbing stairs, then I highly recommend this inn. We ate dinner here too. The service was awesome, the food was delicious. We will definitely stay here again.

A nicely done, good sized loft room with a king size double downstairs and two singles in the upper left room reached by stairs. Bathroom is upstairs. Downstairs has an electric fireplace, a table and kitchenette with microwave (but no stovetop) fridge sink coffee maker. Natural light provided by a skylight (no windows). Clean, quiet, terrific central location. Could use a clothes rod.

Very pleasant stay.

The room was fantastic. The location great. Wonderful to have underground parking. A little tedious going up and down stairs but we knew this before we came and it was worth the effort.

My wife and I first stayed at Bentley's Inn eleven years ago. At the time it seemed newly refurbished and was clean, modern and reasonably equipped. When we decided to return to Stratford this summer I found Bentley's on Orbitz and saw that it still had a high review score. We booked and looked forward to our stay. The reality was very disappointing. It appeared that the room had not been upgraded in the intervening eleven years. The carpets were stained throughout. The bathroom shower was caked with soap scum. Not only that, but the room was only superficially clean. The linens were of very poor quality. It was a very disappointing experience. If we had paid half the price we might have gotten our money's worth. As it was we felt ripped off. To be fair, the room is spacious, with two levels and sleeping accommodations for four. It is also quiet and in a very central location in Stratford. However, if we do return to Stratford we will look for alternate accomodations.

We were in 101. It might help if the staff turns/flips the bed because there's a hollow on the right side. Otherwise bed is firm. Check out lady was friendly; check in guy was brusque and abrupt, likely, because the front desk isn't his natural spot (more like the kitchen, based on his outfit). Been going to Bentleys for last 3 years when we're in Stratford, and generally satisfied.

We enjoyed the spacious rooms and cathedral ceiling of the loft we stayed in.

I’ve never stayed at a hotel with carpets that needed cleaning so thoroughly. No coffee on Day 2. Overused towels. Nice people though

Love Bentleys, always stay here when we go to Stratford. Perfect location. Can walk to the shops, restaurants, the river, and all the theatres. Free parking. The restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. Rooms are large and comfortable with nice amenities. Only downfall is it can be a bit noisy.

Close to everything... easy walk to shopping, Stratford Festival theatre, etc. Very different two-level room. Well-appointed.

The rooms are always clean, and I love the layout. I often meet friends from out of town here, and everyone is comfortable. The staff are wonderful. Thanks for a great experience!

You have to carry your suitcase up a long flight of stairs to get to the rooms. The suite itself was lovely.

We liked everything about this hotel. An elevator would have made our stay easier
