Dj at the front desk was amazing. He was super helpful and accommodating. The hotel was clean and perfect. The beach across the street was beautiful and perfect for getting away from it all and being at peace.

Great two days. Staff extremely courteous and helpful. Although an older property, it was very clean and comfortable.

We liked the location, staff was friendly place was clean. Only issue’s we has was the furniture is very dated, shower and tub is so old they glazed it over to try and make it presentable (it failed). Also we ordered a beach view and got it but evidently there is also a beach front view. There beach view is really a partial view of the beach. If we had that option we would had paid extra for that instead of our balcony facing other balconies and having a partial view of the beach. But overall for the money we were satisfied.

Convenient and super friendly staff event out of the way to make our stay pleasant. Huge room and was able to walk across to the beach.

Love the location, staff, cleanliness and quiet. Hotel is in the older side so don’t expect perfection. Hotel is located right on the middle of south OC. At night you can listen to the ocean overall happy for my stay.

Great location (right across the street from the beach) and great views. The staff was super helpful when I dropped my car hey down the elevator shaft. They contacted their company who came out (eventually) and retrieved my key for me.

I absolutely loved this inn by the beach!! It was lovely waking up next to the water every single day. DJ was super helpful at the front desk. The only thing I would say is "negative" is that the jets don't work well in the hot tub... but the view is spectacular, so that somewhat makes up for it hehe. Will def be staying here again :)

Building was right across the street so that was nice and made for a quick walk. The rooms are ran down, updating is needed. The door lock and handle on the front door to our room was not secure and the patio door did not lock. Not a bad place but a good update is needed.

The property itself is really nice, the room is great. We had a suite, it was very spacious and clean. There was a balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff members were all nice and helpful. Biggest problem is that we stayed on the right side of the hotel and next-door is a bar/club. The first night we did not get to sleep until after 2 AM because there were fights breaking out in the parking lot which was directly outside our bedroom window. Someone was going through the dumpster collecting bottles and cans also in the parking lot, the music in the club was thumping so loud until 2am and cars were screeching out of the parking lot. I realize that this is not the fault of the hotel yet I wish somebody would have warned us. The next night was just as bad if not worse because it would have appeared that some of the bar patrons were also staying in the room next to us so there was no sleep until after 3:30 AM. The other problem was the ants. We had brought snacks and cookies because we were there to celebrate my daughters 17th birthday. Both the snacks and the $20 cookies were infested by ants and we had to leave them there. For a $400/night hotel I expected more. I definitely recommend this hotel but I would request a room on the left side if you like sleep……and bring ant spray.

Older property

My stay here was good. The staff were super friendly, the room was clean enough, and it is super close to the beach. This is definitely an aging property. Doors and railings had rust. One railing was completely rusted through. I know being near the water would cause this, but it should be taken care of. The breakfast was nothing to brag about, but complimentary with the stay. Parking in the small garage will cost you another $10/night. There’s no where else to go, so anticipate that cost with your stay.

The ocean view was a partial ocean view. The fold out couch was very old and very uncomfortable but king bed and pillows were great!

Not worth the money. Poor quality everything. Old facility. You are paying for a view that is free. Housekeeping is by prior request only. When will the Covid excuse be over? Everything about this place is basic and dated. The only modern thing here is the price...they don't seem to have any issues keeping that up to date.

The staff was sooooo nice and patient. The room was fantastic and HUGE! Great view!

We love Beachfront Inn and Suites. For a trip to Capo beach, it is a great location and the staff that we have experienced is really friendly. Dont look too closely if you care about how the rooms look. They are clean, but definitely have some ocean damage. This should not deter you from staying here. It is a great spot for my family of 4 and we will return as long as we can.

THE FRONT DESK STAFF WAS GREAT. MEETING REQUESTS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THOUGH TOILET PAPER DOES NOT SEEM TO BE AVAILABLE, BUT THEY FIND IT SOMEWHERE ELSE. BREAKFAST COULD USE MORE PROTEIN. THERE SHOULD BE ICE MACHINES IN ALL FLOORS, THERE'S ONLY ONE. BUT PERFECT LOCATION ACRSS CAPO BEACH. LOVE IT.

Nothing like what’s advertised online! Room smells, was not ocean view! Dirty hot tub was in the way of the so called ocean view! A bunch of ants were in the kitchenette area. Very little lighting around the property and in the room. Hallway light did not work. The oven beach area is across a huge street, not easy to get to.

While we asked for a view of the beach, which wasn’t what we booked initially, we were ok with the additional charge per night. We’ll the view wasn’t like thought, but ok we weren’t going to be in the room all day. Next, all the doors, including the bathroom, bedroom and entry required some extra effort to close them and made significant noise to close them. Thankfully we aren’t light sleepers. Next the tv remote in the evening when others returned to their room was hard to get it to do what you wanted. At one time someone using a Samsung app took control of the tv snd projected a music video onto our tv. The remote could not override it. I had to disconnect the power. All this was reported to the front desk and they were going to address it. I also let them know the phone in the room didn’t work. The noise and talking that you can hear at night also is too much. The staff were apologetic and were going to address the issues with the tv, doors, phone and I forgot, ants. They did deduct the additional charge for the view.

The Beachfront Inn and Suites is very nice, loved our “room” it had a breakfast area and a living room along with a separate bedroom and bath!♥️Close to Dana Point Harbor and across the street from the Capistrano Beach Park. All the employees were friendly and helpful but a special shout out to DJ at the front desk and Angelo the maintenance guy!! They are really outstanding employees!! My only negative was I felt the mattress on the bed was too hard.

Loved that it was directly across PCH from Capistrano Beach! Sitting on the balcony looking and listening to the ocean was the BEST. We walked to 2 restaurants. Hopped on the trolley just few minutes walk down the road. The staff was great and friendly and helped with TV issues twice. Room was void of any decor on the walls and the bed was pretty hard. Only offered flat pillows. The fan in the bathroom was paired with the light and it was horrendously loud. We often did what we needed to do in the dark... Overall the location was what saved this property ;)

Excellent staff service. Quick check in and check out. Loved the room. It was clean and very spacious and even had a balcony to sit on to watch the waves roll in and out. Also, there are some good places to eat and drink at very close to the property. I’ll definitely be going back.

I loved the location, ocean view from my suite, staff was awesome, and close to local dining and drinks.

We recently stayed here for 5 days in one of the biggest rooms w/ocean views. Our room was nice but there wasn’t any dish soap, paper towels or trash bags in the kitchen-WHY??? Got the runaround from the rudest girl at the lobby check-in ever! Terrible customer service and she didn’t care!!! I will probably never visit here again!
