Loved this home! Great location for visiting north San Diego county. Easy access and short drive to several beaches, Cardiff, San Elijo, Swammi’s, Moonlight. Cardiff has several dining options within walking distance, and even more just up the road in Encinitas. The house had plenty of space for couple of families. The lower level is set up as an entire studio apartment, the middle level has two rooms with a shared bathroom plus an half bath, and the top bedroom is a private primary bedroom with an en-suite. A medium suv fit well in the garage, but larger than that would need to park outside as the owner keeps a vehicle in the garage too. Wonderful, well kept home. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Rented the home with our family and several of my daughters college age friends. The home set up was perfect as it has 2 separate living areas which provided privacy and quiet for us (and two entrances). The air conditioning worked great (many area homes don’t have ac). If you have a very large vehicle parking in front is no problem we had a ford expedition max that we could drive 7 people around. We look forward to returning again!

This property is gorgeous and just as advertised. There are lots of stairs inside the home because it is split over 3 levels. The bottom floor is basically a studio with a kitchen and bathroom, 2nd level has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, and 3rd level has the main living area with a small patio, living room, kitchen and dining area with another small set of stairs up to the master. If you are a coffee drinker, plan to bring ground coffee or keurig cups (no coffee grinder). The kitchen has most of the basics, but you may want to check ahead of time if you are planning to cook there and need specific items. Beds are comfortable and there’s a large table in the main area that was great for meals and playing games with the family. In general, there’s not a lot of “extras” that you find at some other properties (e.g., games, kitchen extras, local information, etc) but it was very comfortable for housing multiple families. There is room for one car in front and a garage and driveway in the back for up to 3 cars, but if you have a larger car or multiple cars to park it can be a bit tricky. We made it work with a Forester and a sedan in the driveway, but had to do some multiple point turns to back out because the space is tight in the alley behind the driveway. Overall, this is a great property and we would definitely come back again!

Location was fantastic for our group. Nice neighborhood, good local food options and walkable to beach.

This was one of the nicest homes we have ever rented! The bedrooms were spaced apart on 3 different levels. It was perfect for our family. Lovely patio with a great view of the ocean. Less than a mile to great beaches, and Pacific Coast Grill- also highly recommended! Cardiff is a great location north of San Diego. We will be back!

Great location. Walking distance to groceries, coffee, donuts and breakfast. Wonderful views. Great decor and accommodations.

The house was clean, modern, comfortable with a great view of the Pacific. The neighborhood and Cardiff community was peaceful and friendly. For our family trip the 3 floor layout worked out perfect, plenty of bathrooms, comfy beds and great kitchen, grill set up to cook our meals.
