Cleaning products were overpowering. Everything else was great

Attractive, fabulous views & super responsive host & property manager. There were a number of problems upon arrival (garbage overflowing & trash around the property, no hot water in both showers, shower drains clogged, hot tub didn’t heat properly & driveway is almost impassable - need SUV). Host & property manager responded & fixed within 12 hours. Somewhere Investment & Management needs to focus on maintenance & household supplies to make cost worthwhile.

The views are stunning. The house was beautifully decorated in a spartan way leaving the view to be your art. A couple of minor items…in the Master Bedroom we suggest making the bed so the guests can see the platform. The bed cover was hiding the corners. My wife hit her leg on one of the corners and has a nasty bruise. 2nd item is the toaster is broken and needs replacing as does the refrigerator water filter. Also a spatula in the kitchen would be appreciated.

Great location- 6 minutes to park. Great views from house. Well appointed. Very comfortable.

Our family really enjoyed relaxing in this little modern desert hideaway

This was an expensive subpar experience, set in some creepy Hills Have Eyes neighborhood. In every direction there’s a double wide house, so it’s only pretty at night. At night, I felt like I was being watched. Upon arrival the drive way is an eroded dirt ravine, hope you have a 4x4. House is a modular home, with a cheap IKEA kitchen that the trash door fell off while taking it out ourselves, no fans in bedrooms, no TV’s in bedrooms, and a super stiff couch and a wicker chair with the bottom falling out. We walked into TRASH left in the house when we checked in; the stench was SO BAD that we had to sleep with the bedroom door open to air it out. (There are no windows, only sliding glass doors.) The HOT TUB IS A NIGHTMARE! Not only is it an added cost to even use it, but then you have to ask the management company to turn it on for you: the instructions DO NOT work. On top of that: The Nest camera is described as facing the door, nope, watches you in the hot tub, in fact, you can see the light on when the owners are WATCHING YOU! (I have the same Nest camera on my house.) Once I realized they were recording our every move I covered it. We paid the extra $180 ahead of time to use the hot tub during our stay and wasted so much time dealing with it. Sure it’s close to the Joshua Tree & Pioneertown, but be sure to check if Pioneertown is even OPEN during your stay as they are CLOSED the earlier part of the week. Palm Springs is more than an hour away and MOST places close early.

We so enjoyed this beautiful house. We watched the stars from the hot tub and took in all the surrounding beauty.The pictures really are accurate. It was a wonderful get-away. We visited Joshua tree (within 10 min drive) to do some hiking. We had some nice dinners in Palm Springs and Palm Desert (within an hours drive). I would highly recommend this house.
