perfectly located hotel next to Railway, Bus and unique monorail Schwebebahn which is need to ride. easy access to city square, shopping and food area. Comfort rooms, nice breakfast.

Hotel in an interesting location. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Parking was more limited than expected. 12 euros per day.

We loved it, especially the service at reception. I was surprised at the lack of evening meals and no 'hot food' at breakfast, but I'm not complaining, just observing.

All is good of this Hotel.

Excellent stay at Wuppertal

Room was clean. Quiet. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff were very helpful. I would stay here again.

Got to the property and wasted perhaps an hour looking for parking that didn’t require us to no e the car at 6am, which is nonsensical when getting to the hotel at 10:30pm after an almost 7-hour drive from Paris. Disappointed the TV wasn’t working at all but was way too late to bring the issue to the attention of staff and in the morning, we were checking out by noon anyway. Seems there was also a bug problem at this property, which seems to be a common thread of continental European hotels. Never had this issue in England or North America. I must say that breakfast was very efficient and relaxing. Simple foods and no fuss.

Everything is great except the parking I understand it is city but hotel has about 10 parking spaces

The hotel was very clean, stuff were very friendly. Breakfast was good as well. The only problem was parking place. The hotel has no parking place reserved for their guest. We had to drive around for quite a time to find a parking place and paid 20€ for a night. Except the parking, all was fine.

Location of the hotel was great. Near the metro and also lots of shopping close by. Breakfast was great. Staff were excellent. We parked in the parking garage across the street. It was only 9 Euro for the night. Make sure you park after midnight or else you will be charged the time prior to midnight as well. Close to the Train Station as well.

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel recently. Modern room with plenty of space for a family of three. Great location too, highly recommend.

Altogether excellent hotel.

Great hotel, great location, nice, modern and clean. Biggest winner is the chair in the hotel room, first time I've been in a hotel that has a chair that's actually comfortable and reclines. Only drawbacks are no mini fridge in the room and the parking is very narrow, so if you have a bigger car, you might need to park elsewhere.

There was no hot hot water in shower, water kettle wasn’t working, the light was constantly flashing. Personnel was not friendly and not helpful

Amazing customer service offered especially by Ms. Maria Alexandri. She dealt with our special requests very kindly and accepted all execpt one of our unusual requests. She explained herself well and was very friendly and helpful. I would like to visit this again and again just because of how understanding and welcoming she was. It made the housekeeping's shortcomings forgiven!

Easy parking in the basement at a fair cost (The parking space is limited and the entry quite narrow but did fit our 2021 Ford Kuga). Breakfast did miss warm offerings but fit the price well.

The hotel is central to the town with the train station nearby that has excellent links the whole region. The room was perfect, it had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Modern and clean, beautiful bathroom, a safe, luggage stand, ironing board, iron and hairdrier. Rather than the usual bench style desk it was freestanding with a great chair - this made it easy to place it in a more conveinient postition. Good quality tea, coffee makng facilities and USB charging points. Perfect, a lot of thought had gone into the design of the room and that desk did it for me - how many times do we stay in rooms and the seat/desk is up against the TV! Finally the staff were helpful and very friendly - yes loved this place.

Great location, very central with nice view of the river and the unique rail system. Lots of attention to detail in hygiene and extra comforts for clients who might forget their toiletries etc.

The room itself may have been alright, but the service we received was abysmal. The receptionist working at the front desk was extremely rude. We had booked a room with 1 queen and 1 sofa bed, but when we arrived, we found that the sofa bed was not set up. When we asked the receptionist to provide some sheets for us to set up the bed ourselves, the receptionist only gave us 1 pillow and duvet. We did not receive any bed sheets for the mattress. When we requested that the receptionist provide the bed sheets for the mattress, he refused and said that he was not housekeeping and that we should wait until the next morning. Afterwards, the receptionist stormed away and said that he is the only one working at night. We asked to speak to the manager, but the receptionist said that he was manager because he was the only person working there at the time. It was only after over 15 minutes of arguing with the receptionist at 23:00 late at night did he reluctantly give us a duvet cover to cover the sofa bed mattress. We are loyal customers of Holiday Inn, but this type of service is wholly unacceptable. This is our third night staying in a Holiday Inn Express in the past week so we are disappointed in the service we received.

after taking a shower the entire bathroom was flooded. No chance to get to the sink or toilet without getting wet feet

We arrived at 3 in the morning and were greeted very friendly. Check in was quick and smooth and all information needed was provided. Breakfast in the morning was till 11am which was great and the breakfast was delicious. Fresh bread, eggs, pancakes etc. The hotel was very clean, the rooms spacious and the staff was super friendly and competent.

actually nice this new Holiday in in Wuppertal. There is no 5 star Marriott or Hilton etc. in Wuppertal. this one is great option, if you like to stay in Wuppertal.

Check in wasn't great as they hadn't looked at my request, and I got allocated the one room I didn't want. The hotel seems fairly new and was in good condition, Aircon worked fine. Breakfast was missing scrambled eggs, but the quality of the bread was good.

The hotel is new and clean. Nly one lift was working. Calling the lift from the underground car park doesn’t seem to work. We tried at least 3 times and the lift always stops at the first floor (reception) and goes back upstairs. The reception is on the first floor hut the entrance is on the ground flour. From inside the is no sign indicating where the exit is. The staff consisted of 2 persons when we arrived. One person was working and the other was sitting behind a desk. There were am several waiting to check in. I can’t pay fir the 4 beers with my credit card. Although there was several types of beer to choose especially a draft beer, I could only get the one in a small bottle which is disappointing because it was very warm outside.
