The hotel was clean, tidy and comfortable. The room was spotless. There was a buffet breakfast with hot and cold food, and a good choice of drinks too. All staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The bathroom looked a little tired; chipped paint work, toilet fixing loose, tiles chipped and a chip in the enamel bath. However, they were refurbishing bathrooms at the time.

Good welcome and reception considered my likes about room location and found the best quiet room for me. Good size room in good condition. Fridge in the room, helps a lot. Safe in the room. Good size smart TV. Lighting in the room is good.

Wish there were curtains in addition to the blinds, in order to cut out the light. The green "safety" light in the bedroom is a bit too bright. The smart TV on several occasions was unresponsive to the remote controller. Be nice to have an additional chair to sit on or a small sofa. Heating in the room is via electric radiators, whilst fine in the winter, I am not sure if cooling is required in the summer and how the room may be kept cool. A complementary water bottle in the fridge perhaps? Too many TV's in the lounge all showing sports channels. Surely, some could be tuned to different channels. Vegetarian choice for breakfast is pretty limited and boring standard hotel fare. Attention to detail in public toilets, lounge toilet had dried blood on the handle for entire duration of my stay, 3 days.

Would probably have considered dinner at the hotel had the restaurant been open earlier than 6:30. While the free drink voucher was very much appreciated, the draught beer selection was limited (although a free beer is still a free beer!)

Allocated a very poor standard room on check in. Beware that not all rooms are of the same size, standard or bed type.

The staff were outstanding, particularly Snezhana on reception who gave me one of the best welcomes I have had. The room was very comfortable, and the food excellent too.

the drinks were quite expensive, and the bathroom in the room as well as the toilets in the bar were very drab and desperately needed an upgrade. The lack of parking is also an issue.

Comfy bed, large towels, quiet location, friendly, professional staff

The check in process was straightforward and the member of staff was incredibly helpful and polite. We only required the one night stay for an early start in the morning so I am unable to comment on some aspects (e.g. Dining) but our overall experience was excellent. We were upgraded to a larger room which I cannot fault. I would definitely chose this location again and would certainly recommend to anyone wanting direct access to the City Centre.

Based on our shorty stay, no negatives.

The excessive noise from the lift that could be heard inside the room.

Decent sized room. Good bar and breakfast facilities.

Some public areas need a lick of paint. Nothing serious.
