we hadden voor ontbijt gekozen €20 per persoon, dat vind ik prijzig en we zaten buiten omdat het lekker weer was. helaas lagen er geen kussens op de stoelen, het terras was niet klaargemaakt, jammer

Great location to see the town and take day trips. Has a wonderful park near by where we went for our morning walks. We stayed at their Jr Suite and we’re very pleasantly surprised to find ourselves on what I would call a one bedroom apartment with kitchenette. We were very comfortable during our stay.

Not the property’s fault but the entrance to the parking garage was tricky and can be easily missed on your first time into town.

The place was filthy! In particular the carpets. We had to ask to be upgraded(we had booked a superior delux). We moved to a suite because I coukd not stay I. Such a dirty, tiny ‘superior delux room’. Honestly the place could be great if they cleaned it.. the staff were so nice.

The corridors

Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig, da nach hinten raus gelegen. Außerdem war es ein Zimmer mit Barrierefreiheit! Gutes Bett. Die Lage war perfekt. Nahe zum Bahnhof und zur Altstadt. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich.

Excellent hotel with great terrace for drinks, comfortable room and secure parking. Good express breakfast.

Some minor maintenance on the rooms

I paid more than expected! Moreover, a security deposit hasn't been returned after a month!!! They now are asking me to "provide us with proof of the direct debit that was made and a letter from your bank informing us that they have no money in their possession that should be returned to you" This is UNACCETABLE!! The room was different (much smaller and worst) from the description and I paid more than 100 euros than the original price confirmed by booking.com. This is a fraud! want my money back.

The hotel is brilliant, on an excellent location, I strongly recommend it :)

Ligging en kamers en privé parking in centrum is pluspunt.

This property was very clean and quiet. Beautiful part of the city too. Breakfast offering was very good.

Check in at 4 is a bit late . 3 would be better. However they did allow me to finally check in a little early as I arrived very early.

Valence is our yearly stop on our way from Barcelona to Switzerland. We have stayed in several hotels, but this one checks all the boxes so we have stayed at Hotel de France for several years now. They are always pleasant and attentive and welcome our labrador retriever, so that's a big bonus. ... This year they had a change in management so, while a few bumps in communication at first, we left happy. Good to see the new management is keen to maintain the quality.
