After I requested a receipt while checking out, I did not receive on. The host informed me that I would receive on via email. I gave her my correct email address and have yet to receive. This is causing difficulties for completing my expenses.

Everything was according to my expectations.

Location
We just finished a canoe competition and turned up around 4pm to check in. There was one family in front checking in already and we were told to wait.
Well it then took 45mins to finally get our check in done.
We went to the room and found it was already occupied!!!
Back to reception where I had to wait again another 15 mins. to get another room assigned, so in all it took one hour to finally get to our room.
I have travelled the world over the last 20 years and this is BY FAR the worst check in procedure I have experienced in ANY hotel.

nice location
old facilities, bad breakfast, horrible lady staff at reception held my luggage hostage while asking for me to pay for an additional stay - had to say I would call the police when they finally called the manager which sensibly gave me my things back and said I didn’t need to pay.

the crew was amazing! the reception, the booking staff, restaurant and cleaner … they were the best! we were 12 people and they did an amazing job! João, Jonny and Ketlen from the reception desk were GREAT!

the bed and the room has a great space. Bathrooms are more than I expected.
Options of breakfast was not so many. Poor variety. Despite of we are in the pandemic time, I've been in other hotels in the same situation and was not a reason.

The room opposite was being reformed, didn't here to much noise, however the floor in the corridor was not cleaned from the works.
Not impressed with Booking.Com, as we are in the days of The Virus Booking .Com should say on their website the amenities that are closed at each hotel, for example it was not stated that the bar was closed at the Comfort Suites.
