We loved our stay on the West Bay Beach side of the island at Colonial Inn. The staff were super friendly and helpful, they even let us check into our room early which was nice. They kept the spaces nice and clean for us, including the common areas. Overall a great stay, made our trip a paradise.

My only complaint is that we could've used extra sheets. The only blanket we had was the brown throw blanket.

The room was sparsely furnished. It could have used a a couple of chairs or even maybe a small sofa. A small desk would be nice too.

The location was central and close access to the beach and the Placita.

The hotel was okay, breakfast needed more options. Also the rooms could use new towels. Our towels were ripped and bedding had holes. There was no hot water.

First time in Roatan. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and extremely friendly. Every morning the staff went about cleaning the pool and lounge area, preparing breakfast, and our rooms were replenished daily. The location is very convenient and the transportation they arranged to and from the airport was quick, clean, and enjoyable.

They need have more clean the office ,the food place more clean changed the room furnitures that’s to old style the need to put a small refigerate in the room

I don’t like too much the hotel

the staff was great, the front desk staff was amazing.

the hotel was very dirty and in poor condition, the elevators were not working on a 6 floor hotel. so we had to carry out luggage for all 6 floors. the breakfast was supper limited.

strategic location

The property is VERY OUTDATED and OLD. The rooms smelled like old and have non functional TVs from 1950. Hot water did not work properly, the bathrooms were rusty the towels were transparent old. for breakfast we had to wait a while for the lady that prepares the food to arrive. the pool was not functional, it was being fixed and the overall aspect of the hotel was not taken care of.

it’s close to the beach

their is no Bar by the pool, I slept with a mouse in my room the security guard helped me the first night but it never left. I video recorded the whole thing. personally Im terrified of mice and rats! I couldn’t even sleep the last two nights. I didn’t even get offered to be moved to another room. Also the internet does not work at all. you have to sit in the lobby or right outside the lobby to get signal.

The rooms were big, bed was pretty comfortable and it was clean. Only a short walk to the beach.

Could use new pillows, and more than 1 per person.
