To say the room I had was tired and jaded and desperately needed brining into the new millennium is a mild understatement.
If you like 80’s tv shows it would be perfect for you (and if you like black mould on bathroom tiles).
As for the food: stay away from the pizza. I ate it (I hadn’t eaten all day so it was that or eat my own socks which with hindsight might have been preferable) however it was a grim, straight from the freezer cardboard cook by numbers pizza.
I wasn’t expecting Gordon Ramsey (far from it) however I did anticipate slightly better than a placemat with cheese slopped on it.
The staff were lovely and I didn’t complain about anything to anyone so no issues there.

The hotel was great for our needs as we had a wedding reception at another hotel. There was a wedding also at hotel we were staying in so a bit noisy later. Mostly the constant beat of music which seemed to go on a lot later than we expected! Room is clean and comfortable however soundproofing not great. Our neighbour seems to keep bathroom light on so sound from extractor fan going for ages-woke us up! Because of various noise issues would not stay again! Maybe we were unlucky with room location

Gorgeous deluxe room with access to a lovely little garden. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful reception area and plenty space to sit and relax both indoors and outside. I will definitely be back soon

Great place to stay. Recently refurbished rooms to a high standard. Lovely big showers and comfy beds. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Very happy to recommend all round. *****

Great dinner in the bar - lovely pizza and tapas.
Not enough staff so kept having to go to reception to find someone to serve drinks.
Spa jacuzzi wasn’t working nor was the after fountain but otherwise small but nice area.

Great hotel, newly modernised with spotless rooms and shared areas. Wonderfully friendly staff in particular at breakfast! The gym was well equipped and the pool looked great. Will stay again soon!

Breakfast was a little expensive all though a very good choice of foods , unfortunately my cooked choice was cold. However the hotel itself overall was lovely very nice, staff on were very pleasant, location good. Fab shower, nice to have kettle in RM, bed comfortable, lovely and airy. Do recommend a stay.

We had a lovely one night stopover. Nice small spa area with steam room sauna and small pool. The hotel was very dog friendly, dog bed and bowls provided in the room. Dinner at the bar and breakfast were good value and quality. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I was in room 70 and above me it’s room 75 and the whole ceiling vibrates when the guest in room 75 walks about.
Didn’t get a good sleep because of that. It will wake anybody up.

Upon arrival I wasn’t to sure as the outside looked like a hostel well around the back where the rooms are but do not let that put you off it’s beautiful inside friendly staff everywhere you go nothing was to much it was so relaxing there definitely staying again

Receptionist was not friendly and had no knowledge regarding invoices/receipts. Could not work with apple pay so had to get food elsewhere along with breakfast as they could not put all my expenses on one invoice for me. Room phone did not work, no water supplied in room. No room service could be provided due to the phone not working. Manager could not help with my invoice query and walked away, no help whatsoever. Was told I made a mistake as I never booked through them. Would not stay here at all! ABSOLUTE DISASTER!

Great staff, however the gym was closed and the hallways were in a poor condition and renovations were in progress. On the Friday there was a wedding, so it was very noisy in the evening

Paid extra for superior suite. Woken up at about 4:30 continuously by loud drilling noise. Complained to hotel staff but so far nothing has been done and I have had no response.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was unfortunately terrible at the bar in the evening. The sweet potato fries were burnt, the prawns were tiny frozen prawns, the steak was fatty and chewy (not flat iron steak) the Chorizo came in a tomato sauce with olives, very random. The bar was very busy and a staff member was getting trained (getting trained very well to say) so unable to complain that evening as they were rushed. The fire alarm woke us up at 5.30/6am after an incredibly busy day prior. The hot tub was out of use. Rooms were very clean and modern. Overall disappointing but staff were commendable.
