This hotel is a kind of "Grande Dame" amongst buildings with lots of old world flair. Had a wonderful corner room. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Check in was terrible. The woman at the front reception was rude and kept insisting that our reservation was for one adult rather than one adult and two kids. She fought us on it despite proof on reservation. Further, we had to insist on an additional bed since it had one queen, we paid cash for breakfast but wasn’t on the breakfast list and had to insist upon the Wi-Fi code. For the class of hotel this service was unacceptable. Much better places to stay in this town. Would not recommend.

Typical of German mentality (stereotype, I know), when it came to COVID, they went overboard. I had to reserve the sauna and later I found out that I had all for myself. It is meant for at least 20 people, but they chose to reserve it on customer at a time. One had to wear gloves when going through the buffet, masks were mandated any time you stepped into the hallways.

The hotel has a unique setting and is from the outside a very nice hotel. However the interior of some rooms lacks the quality of the rest of the hotel. The rooms are outdated. No air conditioning, small showers, small beds for the single rooms, is a little under par for a four star hotel.

Beautiful hotel, great location. And the thermal baths are a wonderful experience!!

This was our 3rd visit to PKParkhotel Kurhaus. We had a clean, spacious room, in a quiet location overlooking the Kurpark and Nähe River. We enjoyed having a drink on our balcony. The breakfast offerings were a large selection and everything we had was good. The complimentary unlimited use of the thermal baths was a wonderful feature.

The hotel was impecable and excellent service from the staff. They were very friendly and help. Highly recomendable

Nice, older hotel. Pretty grounds. Convenient to old town and walks along river. Satisfactory breakfast included. Taxi to train station 5-10 min. No A/C in room I had, but ok as nights in 55* Fahrenheit range. They had scheduled (relaxing) music in front courtyard in afternoons. Piano bar Saturday night.

It's such a shame this hotel has loads to offer but it is just a bit dated and in need of TLC. Would we go back yes but could do with some care and attention. Had to kill 4 spiders when we got back to the room Saturday night do t bother me but wife was petrified

Lovely hotel and spa, we look forward to going back for a longer stay. Breakfast was fantastic, location couldnt be better for walking around the city and along the river path ways.

Your Reservation could not be found. But they solved they Problem although they were booked up. Ďuring the waiting time they served us Coffee and Cake.

You could open the balcony door but then you would get spiders and bugs in the room during the evening hours. We bought a fan from a store to stay cool and gave it away when we checked out. If it wasnt for that fan we would have left the hotel on day one. The pool area did not reopen until the day before we left.

I HAD A VERY BIG ROOM UNDER THE ROOF BUT THERE WAS NO AIR CONDITIONING AND IT WAS VERY HOT. ALSO WIFI WAS NOT GREAT

Spent 1 night for business. Nice hotel with a throwback to Dirty Dancing and the family hotel. Beautiful setting by the river. Breakfast is nice with warm and cold dishes and a nice and quiet dining area.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Attentive staff. Comfortable room. Short walk to the shops.

From the outside the hotel looked great, even grand. But what expected us on the inside is several steps down from the grandeur of the past. The room was quite large. A tiny, rather cheap looking kitchen was right in front of the bathroom. The bathroom showed obvious signs of decay. The paint on the entire inside of the door crumbled and the door dram was in part completely free of paint. The living room has a large l-shaped seating group, a smallish TV and a big desk in it. The real showpiece was the bedroom. A thin wall separated the bedroom from the living quarters. The bed filled practically the entire room lengthwise. Two (yes you read right), two entrances lead to the beds side. In all the years of traveling this was the first time my husband and I were separated by entrance...There was no TV in that walk-in closet size room. There for we found mirrors in rather odd places. The night stands where so far from either side of the bed that they were hard to reach, even at 62. The carpet had rather disgusting spots in and outside the room.The absolute biggest issue we had with the room was, that at outside 34 degrees Fahrenheit (2 Degrees Celsius) none of the rooms were pre-heated. The radiators were way too small for the living room with extra high ceilings and the bathroom never got cosy during our stay.Staff was very friendly. They clearly added the second star of this review. Otherwise not more than one is warranted.

We loved staying in this historic hotel. Small bathroom but clean and the bed was very comfortable. It took three tries to get an acceptable room but once that was settled all was fine. Lovely breakfast and setting.

Lovely hotel with free access to a great Spa facility. Lovely breakfast . clean room. My only personal and small gripe was a soft mattress.

Hotel is fairly close to city centre. Rooms are good - spacious, with a comfortable bed. Peaceful surroundings and an aged population in the vicinity ensure a good night's sleep! If you are staying in the area for work, this hotel works well. If you are looking for exciting nightlife, go elsewhere!
