Staff is five stars for all services but I would like standard about cleaning. I can be misunderstood or don’t speak very well on our communication but for protocol and cleaning see important from our eyes to comfortable overall. Bathroom needs always to be clean same standard we found the room while checking in. Bed and sheets are clean and neat but cleaning like focus on the floor - bath and walking through room is a necessity - while we stay at hotel, not only using air spray for ambience like desodorante. Overall I would be back but paying attention for this point to be all 5 stars comfortable . As a humble suggestion, for the night reception could have a bottle of tea in small cup shots because The weather is crispy cold around. It makes more warm because this hotel is very cozy and great.

They were so nice and helpful to us. They answered all of our questions well. I enjoyed my stay there. A good location and close to main attractions! Definitely I will stay here again in the future!

Was to much humidity on place.

We stay here often, but this last time we experienced 2 fire alarms and a check in that was not so pleasant. I do recommend this hotel, and hope this trip was just a fluke.

Great place

I really enjoyed my time in Tambo 1. It's a great location and clean and walkable to many places. The Breakfast was great and plenty of it. We did have an incident where my sister fell in the shower and lacerated her head and bruised her back. I did bring it to the attention of the personnel and they took matters into their hands. BUt be very careful with the very slippery floor in the bathroom. Do request a mat for the shower prior to occupying. Other than that we really enjoy the place.

Staff responded well when we had issues with hot water in our room. The property is in great location- so close to the boardwalk and great restaurants.

The property in general was nice and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast is not great but okay. The room we had was clean but we had bed bugs and got bitten really bad. Told the staff but nothing actually happened to address the issue.

-An excellent value in a quiet, safe neighborhood -The hotel is sparkly-clean, from the three guest rooms we occupied (across multiple, sequential reservations) including perfectly clean bathrooms—to the lobby, dining room, hallways, lounge and. C imputed/workstation rooms -Nestled in a residential neighborhood with multiple delicious local restaurants within four blocks, plus at least three convenience stores AND the signature mall just six blocks away, everything that you might need on an impulse is close-by -It is a quiet and safe neighborhood, and one walkable at anytime without problems or safety concerns, with individual houses, small hotels, and residential condo buildings. Walking to dinner and then walking home has been a wonderful part of our stay -The ocean & malecon (palisade boardwalk) is four blocks away and can be walked for miles through parks, past gardens, art &small, open eateries -The rooms are modern & nicely furnished— a bit like a Hampton Inn on a slightly tighter budget. A standard double room is a bit tight, so spring for one with more than one bed and it will be exponentially larger & more comfortable -The staff is very friendly & helpful and answered every need promptly -COVID has restricted the dining services, yet they provide a nice breakfast buffet every day & a good selection of room service foods are available -We had one front desk problem but it WAS resolved successfully -JUST BRING SLIPPERS! I loved this place it was very cozy and very friendly staff. Very quiet and most of all close to all the nice restaurants and shopping as well.

We stayed at Tambo I for two nights. The first was peaceful and quiet. Our room was made up perfectly the next day and the front desk was friendly and helpful, though the security personnel wore frowns. The problems arose during the second night. The noise from the person in the room above began a night of disturbances and little sleep. The main issue was that the rooms are equipped with light hollow core doors that slam easily, and the people across from us liked slamming their door. They were also singing while taking a shower past midnight. It was a rough night.

Excellent location, secure area, close to main restaurants and tourist area of Miraflores without the busy noise of the cars in other streets. Has a very good breakfast and offers lunch and dinner in same area as per request and has excellent taste, service and price. They should promote this more, because we knew about this service the last day and is very convenient especially after a long day.

Good location between the coast attractions and the lively Miraflores centre. Very helpful and attentive staff. Clean, excellent breakfasts and delightful garden area.. Standard rooms quite small but we were given a spacious upgrade, so it's worth asking.

Hotel staff was very nice. Breakfest was very nice, altough they didnt have a prepared breakfest for people going out before the breakfest started, wich i dont know if thats only with 4 star hotels or plus, but shouldnt be to much of a problem to put little breakfest in a to-go box. The room 706 was very clean and amazing view though the frontdoor had a little room between the floor and the door so wasnt really sound isolated. And the AC was broken, you could not change the heat difference but it blew. I would recommend this hotel though.

The window in the room is not soundproof. also the floor maybe is quite thin because I can easily hear the guests who stay upstairs were walking around.

The hotel was generally nice, though there is room for improvement. For example, although there is enough space on the wall above the desk and chair, the TV is installed on the corner right above the cupboard (see photo), which hides part of it, and the TV can't be watched unless the room occupant sits back on the bed (no other way, even sitting on a chair, would help). Buffet breakfast is not bad, but coffee leaves a lot of room for improvement. Beware that there is no lift, so if your room is on the 3rd floor then you have to climb the stairs (not a problem if you don't have a health issue - I didn't mind it, but just to alert others). Also, as a matter of principle, my booking through hotels.com (which shows on the bill as being from another hotel booking site) included 10% discount on food, which I did not get, but the amount was little, so I ignored it. WiFi inside the rooms has weak signals, unless you put your phone near the door. Signal outside the rooms was good. Mini-fridge is available for free, but you have to request it.

Pros ... We chose this hotel mainly for its location and it's pretty convenient. Very close to Airport Express stop (Hilton) It's within walking distance the heart of Miraflores. About 10 mins walk to Metropolitano station. Front desk staff communicates in English and provides printing service (ie. boarding passes). Business center available (4 PCs). 1 elevator available. Room is clean. Luggage storage is available. Nice and quiet neighbour and feel safe at night. Breakfast is decent. Cons ... Standard double room is relatively small. Large luggage will not be able to open fully (we were ok as we're backpackers). No in-room kettle & fridge. AC was not working (23C in Lima during March).

Nice place to stay, poor internet connection, helpful staff, located close to Kennedy Park

The hotel is well located and reasonably priced. The staff is very courteous and very helpful. The rooms are relatively modest, but comfortable. The city is noisy both during daytime and night hours. Unfortunately, the room windows are not sound proof. In addition, one may need to keep the windows open during hot days b/c there is no A/C.
