We loved this charming hotel in the heart of Palo Alto University district. The decor was beautiful! Friendly helpful staff and such a lovely festive lobby! We will definitely stay again!

Nice hotel but some hidden costs. Got charged about 90 dollars of some sort of city costs on our check out.

Awesome eclectic and historic hotel. Much better than the bland, corporate stuff. Clean, comfortable and great staff. Awesome art everywhere.

A really special property - so very well apointed ! The staff is incredible and goes well beyond - from the hosts at the checkin desk, to the bartender at the rooftop bar, to the gentleman that served me coffee and breakfast to go in the hotel dining on the ground floor.. it all made for a memorable experience!

Very disappointed that the hotel refused to offer any credit towards a future stay when one member of our party fell ill and we had to cancel our trip. Despite our giving notice of cancellation two days in advance, the hotel still charged us the entire amount, thereby squandering an opportunity to earn goodwill. We will be staying elsewhere on future visits.

Had a great stay at the Graduate in Palo Alto! The room was super cute and really comfortable. The hotel staff was super helpful and friendly, a great place to stay. I will definitely book there again the next time I am in town!

Super friendly staff! Very accommodating when we had issues with the tv in our original room - offered to switch rooms for us right away because they still had space available. Also was very nice about my check out requests. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel!

The only two things that we did not like:
- cancellation policy with Expedia booking is very restrictive
- street noise in room facing University Ave

It's such a historic building with a beautiful lobby in a historic neighborhood. I did not like the wall paper though. Big flowers in the walls and curtains all over was too much.

Amazing hotel was with 3 kids, very friendly stuff and beautiful atmosphere.

Pillows were very hard - need a few softer ones. Also I was concerned with security - seemed anyone could walk in off the street & go up in elevators.
On the positive side - loved the unique decor.

The hotel was well located and the room was nice but small. The staff (other than the valet Jose) was not great. When I checked in I told the front desk that my husband was coming behind me with the kids and luggage. My phone was on silent and I forgot to tell him the room. He was the only person in the lobby and they refused to tell him our room or acknowledge him, 5 min after I told them he was coming in. The other staff at the restaurant was meh. For the price point I would not stay here again. Maybe the service will be better after the transition from the buyout is complete.

Wonderful stay at the Graduate Palo Alto! The corner room was amazing and very spacious. I loved the old English university feel to the decor.

This place is super cute and cozy. The room was exactly as expected, quiet, comfortable. The gals at the restaurant were great! They were lovely to chat with and made me feel right at home, like I was a local. My steak was perfect and they helped me find a wine that I liked. I would for sure stay here again if I have the chance.

Super helpful front desk — and they proactively checked in to make sure all ok. Nice touch to have complimentary espresso/ Capuccino in bar/ lounge. Room comfortable but had v limited closet/ hanging space and old windows made room exposed to noises of terrace and University Ave — even being on the 6th floor.

Gorgeous- fantastic quality!
The bathroom light was a bit dim for applying makeup, but very flattering. The windows aware original single pane, so I could hear road noise on the 3rd floor. I am sensitive to noise though. If a semi idled on the side street it kept me awake. 😩
Otherwise, my stay was flawless.
