Rosa was incredible and went the extra mile to arrange fabulous wine tastings for us. She also arranged electric bikes and made sure we got everywhere on time. The location was great, two blocks from the bus station.

The room was clean and comfortable but quite small. There are not many chairs by the pool, so if a large party is there, you may not find a seat.

breakfast was offered at 9:00 fine if you are on holiday but too late if you are working. I managed to get mine at 8:30 so a little compromise.

This was a great find and I could not recommend it more. the location was great, breakfast was one of the best we’ve had so far on our (4 month) travels, the staff were very helpful and the rooms lovely with very comfortable beds. 10/10!!

We loved our stay at Casa Calfu. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. The property was communicative and helpful before we arrived because I had sent several questions about transportation and wine tours. They were always very prompt to reply and assured us that they could help us set up anything we needed. The property grounds are beautiful and welcoming. While it was too cold for us to use the pool, we sat in the tranquil pool area and listened to the birds while taking in our morning coffee and meditation. There is safe, private parking right on the property grounds, and the location is great for accessing restaurants, cafes and the main square. However, we spent most of our time outside of town in wineries and restaurants. Our room was small, but extremely cozy. We had great Wi-Fi, and the beds were some of the most comfortable that we have had in Chile; so comfortable in fact that it was hard to get out of bed in the morning. I was also impressed by the hot water in the shower and the cleanliness of the entire property. Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. They always had an array of homemade delicious pastries to top of the already hearty breakfast. The team at the hotel helped us with transportation to wine tours and restaurants, which was great because we did not want to have to worry about drinking and driving. They set us up with a driver named Luis, who was always very helpful and took us to all the places we needed to go. He also picked us up whenever we needed to get back to the hotel. I would highly recommend a stay at Casa Calfu, especially if you are passing through

One thing to note: the rooms do not have a fridge, coffee maker or microwave, so it may not be ideal for stays longer than 2-3 nights. Also, if you speak limited Spanish, you may have some challenges. We communicated in Spanish the entire time, but also used the Booking.com messaging function for more complicated conversations.

Claudia was so helpful with places to eat and things to do. Breakfast was beautiful and so much food, the pool and gardens were a lovely oasis. Very close to city square

The owner doesn't seem to enjoy working in the hotel business...every question is too much. He doensn't even trust his own wonderfull lady at the reception to execute the payment.

We had a very nice breakfast that was served at the table.

Room only had a door to terrasse, not really a window.

Nice place, comfortably, nice staff, the pool was good, just a little bit cold. To me everything was good. They have a really good breakfast, I haven't took a breakfast like this in Chile before.

There was a guy, maybe accountant (idk) who was not kindly, I guess he shouldn't be attending people, I guess he has a different role but I had some questions and he was the only one available at that moment.

The staff was very friendly, breakfast and the pool were awesome, the hostel has nice gardens and separate paths to the rooms.

The staff made us feel absolutely comfortable, the pool was excellent, breakfast was abundant and delicious, the room was always clean, the AC worked perfectly and it was necessary, because Santa Cruz is rather hot, everyone was very kind to us.

Location: right in the centre of the city. The facilities ware excellent: a delightful swimming pool is included on the premises. Very nice rooms with private bathroom.. extremely nice host, helpful in all possible ways.

Great position and welcome. Huge bed and lovely pillows. Wine on arrival a treat.
