There are so many things to love about this house. It was very nicely decorated, the kitchen was well stocked to cook for my family of 6 and my mother. There was plenty of space for us and the kids loved that they had tvs in their rooms. The beach access was amazingly close and the house came with some beach toys that were an added bonus for us. We felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves! Now for the downsides just to be aware of…. The road is very close to the house and I was surprised at how busy it was and how loud the traffic could be especially at night and early morning. Not a deal breaker but something to be aware of. The other thing is that there are a lot of steep stairs in this house which my elderly mother struggled with. We definitely loved the easy and close beach access for her though. Lastly, the staircase to get into the house was poorly ventilated and there was obvious mold/mildew all over the wall and vent area with a terrible moldy smell upon entering the house. Not a great first impression. I was able to clean the area with Clorox and once we opened the door and let that area vent a bit it wasn’t so overwhelming. Thankfully that smell did not carry throughout the main living space. It was just confined to the very lower staircase and did not ruin our stay. The beautiful private beach area was definitely the highlight of our trip. Many memories were made.

Took my family for the week to this property. It did not disappoint. I love the location directly across the street from the beach with easy access. We enjoyed watching all the fireworks on the 4th from the rear deck. It was hot and the stairs going up can get old after several trips but you get used to it. House was clean. Suggestions to make an even better experience are: 1) Provide a grill 2) Provide beach chairs/umbrellas 3) Pool. I knew none of these items were provided prior to booking but just think it would improve the property appeal even more. We would book this location again in the future.

The house was set up great for our 3 family trip. Super close to the beach, a nice yard for games, and was stocked with everything we needed. Would definately stay here again!

Great location, clean and well equipped! Only complaint, time flew by. Look forward to going back.

We loved being so close to the ocean, the space, and all of the amenities this property provided. After day 2 (of our 3 night, 4 day stay) we realized that the AC unit was not working, but we didn't complain. Luckily, we are from NY, and the weather was neither freezing cold, nor unbearably hot. Conveniently, it was in the 70's and 80s our whole stay. We were able to open windows and utilize the fans to stay at a comfortable temperature. Expectations and information on leaving the property were unclear, except for check-out time. Extra clean sheets and towels were left, as well as toiletries and daily necessary supplies. There are beautiful views from the decks throughout the day. Sunrise over the ocean and sunsets over the sound. We were all happy, satisfied and comfortable.

Love the access to the beach and having a large area that wasn’t used on beach due to isolation from other homes. Only down side was the stairs at the house were steep and 3 stories made it hard to get things up and down but other than that highly recommended.
