Stayed here with a few friends and my dog during the summer off season, perfect home base for hiking and exploring! Easy to get to trailheads. It's a duplex, and the only issue we had was the neighbor working on a home project making noises into late hours. Called Summit County Mtn Retreats to see if they could help and didn't run into any issues after that, they were sympathetic and helpful.

This property is quite old and the main floor is pretty rundown. Was disappointed to find that the weeds were knee high in the back yard. Had to keep dog out of them. No blinds on the main area windows so if sunny the house gets quite warm. Bathroom toilets are very low to the ground. Stairs to downstairs are quite steep but gate was provided. Downstairs was definitely updated and way more comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Main area couch was very old and not comfortable. And do check, as the whole time we were there, the neighbors (attached wall) were doing a remodel and worked late and one night into the night (2:45a.m.)

Great property with amazing living space. The lower living space allowed kids to have space to hang out while adults relax in the upstairs living space. Access to pond and walking trail too!
The online guidebook for check in was down but the property manager was easy to reach and helpful. Would suggest a dustpan for quick clean ups, and possibly a more comfy couch in the upstairs living area.

The location of this property is amazing as you are close to the hiking trails and and the recreational center as well as all the eatery places. The size of the duplex was sufficient and the bunkbed area for the kids was fabulous. The only improvements I would say would be a new living room couch as the one there was worn out and to fix the tiling around the fireplace. Otherwise, it was just a really nice location and great place to stay.

Summit County Mtn Retreats always offers great customer service! This is a very nice unit in a good areas, close to everything. A few things about this unit: the outdoor grill is only a griddle and it is rusted and unusable; be careful of the indoor stairs as they are steep and slippery, stair runners would be very helpful.

My friends and I stayed here for the weekend to go skiing and avoid traffic on 70. This place was great for our group of 8 and was very close to everything we needed.

Great place for a family stay. Three main bedrooms, plus four bunk beds in one additional room. Good location for easy access to all local ski areas. Only issue is the lighting in most bedrooms and the main room is poor and needs upgrade. It was difficult to play a board game at the dining table with two floor lamps that were inadequate.

This was such a smooth, seamless process. Wonderful place that comfortably fit everyone and our service dog who loved the backyard. The neighborhood is quiet and in the perfect location for heading to the town, mountains, lake, etc. Nothing over 20 minutes long. We looked to stay here another time but it's already taken! until next time!

We all absolutely loved our stay in Silverthorne. It was the perfect size for our large family and everyone was extremely comfortable.
If we ever plan another trip to the Silverthorne area then this place will be at the top of our list.

This was a great and simple place to stay with great access to summit county. I appreciated being able to bring my dog and this had the basics that we needed to use as a home base. good and clear communication from the property manager. thanks!

This property was perfect for our trip to Silverthorne.
My husband and I spent a week here along with our Husky, Billy. The place was perfect and had 3x the beds we actually needed.
The upstairs living is awkward but there is a more comfortable den downstairs with an Apple TV. There are two bedrooms upstairs one with a king and one with a queen. We used these beds and they were very comfy. Downstairs there was the den along with two more bedrooms, laundry, and another bathroom.
The backyard was perfect for our pup. He loved being able to have a space to run around. There were a bunch of squirrels for entertainment and the neighbor’s dogs gave him company through the fence. With that said, we never left him out there alone. The neighbor warned us of mountain lions and bears in the neighborhood so we always monitored our fur baby.
Highly recommend this lovely place. Silverthorne, Dillon, and Frisch have everything you could need and it is simply beautiful.

We had two families. It's a great place by a private pond we loved it. It does only have 2 bathrooms but it worked ok. The washing machine didn't work but other than that we enjoyed our stay.

This property is in a nice neighborhood. The upstairs bathroom needs some maintenance but notified property manager so it should get taken care of. Could use some sharper knives in kitchen but overall good experience. It was nice to have the fenced in back yard for dogs.

To begin with, we did received notification that the washing machine is not working but there should be plenty of time to repair or replace. For skiing trip, we have time after in the evening to do some laundry so we will not have many loads to do at home. Driving up to the rental, there was still about 4 ft of snow near the front door. As we walked inside, there red tapes covering up the cracked tile near the not to use fireplace pit. The house is very poor lighting eating dinner and cooking in the dark. Very surprised and annoyed that all the bedrooms have no dressers to unpack out clothes. Living out of our suitcases! The main floor toilet was making loud noise all the time and not sufficient hot water for showering. Also, bottom shower smelled molded probably from cracks due to lack of caulking. Very bad rental property and hope will get some refund back bc this is a very expensive accommodation to spends our hard earn money, $4200.

The unit is spacious with a good sized kitchen and common areas and enough rooms and beds for a big group. Large windows in the upstairs and a nice deck and backyard area. Only issues we had for our stay was the dishwasher and washer machine were not working. The property owners were able to give us a discount based on the non-functioning appliances.

The house was nice and has plenty of space. The house desperately needs improved lighting. The unshaded blubs and lack of general illumination makes it difficult to read or play games after dark. Also be very careful with the handle on the inside door from the outside vestibule into the house as it is easy to lock accidentally and the management does not have a key.

Very comfortable home. Kitchen was appointed with everything we needed. Most important, the Beds were very comfortable and the house is very quiet. The only thing I would add would be some floor lamps, the house is very dark with only a few indirect lamps and no ceiling lights.

My friends, partner and I stayed here for 2 nights to ski in the area. The place itself was clean and well furnished with lots of good kitchenware. It was an easy 5 minute drive to 70 to get to the mountains. The place was well insulated and kept warm even around 0. Would definitely visit again!
