The bedroom lighting was comfortable as the rooms had softly lit wall sconces. However, the living, dining, and kitchen areas had numerous recessed ceiling lights that gave off a bright, harsh artificial daylight. The overall effect was similar to fluorescent lighting. When combined with the home's minimalist white walls, we felt like we were living and eating in a doctor's or dentist's office. Turning the recessed lighting off wasn't an option either, as there were no alternative softer lighting choices provided except for 1 small candle. The bright lighting choice could be eadily fixed by providing a soft standing lamp or two, in addition to dimmers and/or softer, yellow LED lights. In addition, the property could use a name or number on the electronic gates, so it's easier to identify it as the location. The solid steel gates are not see-through.
