We liked the accommodation together with the beautiful view of the mountains. Nice hosts who were always happy to give us advice. They gave my wife a nice birthday party with a cake, so of course we both enjoyed it there. We also recommend their dinner, which we have always enjoyed.

We truly loved our stay at Casa Familiar. Our room was really clean and comfortable, with an amazing view on the mountains. Margaret and her husband were so lovely and friendly, they cooked us delicious diner and helped us organise our hikes and taxi (booking and even negotiating the price for us). For sure when we will come back to Cabo Verde, we will go to Casa Familiar again ! 100% recommended Thank you again Margaret for taking such good care of us, hopefully see you soon !

The room was clean, they have hot water in the shower, the breakfast was really good. My bedroom was huge with a big closet. The owner lives in the building, she is really nice. The living room is nice with a very beautiful view on the mountains. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.

We had a wonderful stay. Family atmosphere, simple breakfast, yet everything you need. Great view into the mountains and very nice community area.

We arrived and she let us know that there was there was a death in a family. Her cook was sick and so there was no restaurant on site, as she had said. She said there were no other guests because there was a death in the family and so we were the only guests she was taking. She put us in the small room in the apartment. There were flies inside the lamps. The only place where we could have wifi was in the common room - but that room had no window, so it was very cold, it was dimly lighted, and there was only one electrical outlets that was being used by other equipment. I I asked if she could put is a better guest room to accommodate, but that all of the guest rooms were full of her family members. So she referred us to the hotel across the street. She said that we could cancel the reservation, and she would refund us. After we left (an hour or so after arriving), she decided she wanted to keep our the money and wouldn't give us a refund. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's new, and they have along way to go in the hospitality department.

This is a super nice family place Margareth is a great host and a great cook. Room is simple but really comfortable and the view amazing.

Spectacular view from the bar/restaurant area. Host was wonderful. Helped arrange driver, walks etc. Very good English. Liked the coming together of guests in the evening Very clean and quiet Supermarket and cash point near by. Some nice walks you can get to from the house

Not a bad thing but be aware there is not internet but they are hoping to have it installed soon.
