Superb location on a very quiet estate with a small car park at the rear, with a space for each apartment. The bed in the main room is big and very comfortable - we slept so well during our stay! There’s lots of storage too. There were only two of us so we didn’t use the other bedroom but it looked lovely. There’s a lovely big bright and airy main room with the kitchen at one end and a living room area with big sofas at the other end. The apartment was very clean. There is a very big TV but it only has Freeview so bring a laptop and HDMI cable if you want to watch anything else. It was mild when we were here, and the storage heaters kept the apartment a bit too warm! But I think they’d keep it lovely and warm even in winter. The bathroom is a good size with a shower over the bath, that looks ancient but is very powerful with a steady flow and consistent temperature.

The apartment looks a bit ‘tired’ in places with the laminate coming off some of the kitchen cupboards, the kitchen tap drips, and the outer pane of one of the windows is cracked. The sofa is a bit lumpy too. The kitchen is quite well equipped but lacking a few things that we’d have liked, e.g. a working cafetiere and a sieve. Also, there was no welcome pack that most cottages provide e.g. a pint of milk and few teabags and sachets of coffee.

It’s summer - only blind which meant as soon as the sun was up we were up. Could do with curtains to. The oven also didn’t work so the cheese on toast I wanted couldn’t be made.

The location of this apartment is great a couple of mins walk from Bamburgh center. It has its own dedicated parking space, quiet neighbours, kitchen is fully fitted with all the utensils needed,

Damaged window needs repair, WIFI instructions are incorrect but you can find the WIFI router in the master bedroom wardrobe. No dishwasher
