Another little perk is the small terrace, which offers an alternative spot to sip coffee on warm mornings. When it comes to the home's surroundings, nowhere in the UK does adorable fishing villages like Devon – although we should probably add 'or Cornwall' here to be on the safe side. Back Beach is a minute's walk away if you fancy a paddle or hiring a boat, but you can also catch a ferry from this point that will take you over to Shaldon. Back on this side of the River Teign, the Grand Pier and seafront are close to the home, too.
