We love the Royal Oak area! It was a good central location to meet up with some friends from college and ring in the New Year.

As advertised it was a beautiful (very clean and bright) home in an excellent location. Have nothing but great things to say about the property and highly recommend it to anyone considering the area.

The home is situated in an ideal location close to everything. We had a great time and enjoyed how well appointed the house is and how responsive Martine was when responding and answering my request or questions. We would definitely stay again!

This property is far away from the maddening crowds and detritus of Detroit. It is amazing and not at all what our family expected. It’s on a heavily tree-canopied street in a gentrifying mix of neighborhood of older, newer, and being-remodeled homes. The exterior is newly renovated and the interior, also remodeled, features lots of contemporary touches throughout. No carpeting downstairs, up-to-date kitchen, modern baths, comfortable seating and plenty of room for a large famiy to move about in. Martine was uber responsive and a real pleasure to work with. She easily accommodated my always-late sister-in-law who couldn’t get her arse out the door by 10 a.m. We loved the soft bath sheets (not just towels) and we appreciated not having to buy items such as sugar substitute. Also loved the downstairs surge protector, which allowed us to charge multiple devices at once. Might I suggest one for upstairs double as well? House was spotlessly clean. No dust or debris and the minimal checkout requirements did not go unnoticed! A fabulous stay. I only hope my home rentals this trip in Cleveland and Cincinnati are as nice. Oh yeah, telescoping tools for making S’mores in the backyard fire pit would be welcomed! Thank you again, Martine! The Curries from California, Texas, and Oregon!!

The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The house is very close to downtown Royal Oak which was perfect for us since the wedding reception was in Royal Oak. Family visited the Detroit Zoo which was not far. Lots of great restaurants in Royal Oak too. Communication with host was great! Great place to stay!!

Great location! Very clean and lots of little extras for your conveniece. Host very responsive. Bathrooms very nice. Only draw back was not enough comfortable lounging furniture for the group.
